None of my guns killed nor injured anyone today.
As usual.
Bump!
The right to self-defense is as natural a right as you will find. The right to bear arms is a derivative of that.
“0.2 per 100,000 “
hmmmm.....
2 per Million
~700 accidental gun deaths per year for America???
Not so sure about that....
must save this
Actually, it has been less. We have had a couple of years with barely over 600 fatal firearms accidents. The types of “accidents” that we see that make up the statistics now are things like a couple of rough characters drinking beer all day, and one of them puts a beer can on his head and says: Shoot this beer off of my head!, and his “buddy” misses a bit low.
So one way of interpreting these statistics is that a person is far more likely to die from their doctor’s advice, than from a firearm accident.
Puts an interesting perspective on when your doctor starts advising you on how to store your firearms, wouldn’t you say?
Kel-tec P3AT, I never leave home without it.
Great pocket pistol. Can’t even tell it’s in your pocket.
Mine neither, but I think in the past 18 months more people are buying and stockpiling than actually shooting.
Shhhhh....
I’ve been thinking about a hunting rifle replacement. Something that can make a 200 to 300 yard shot when hunting but still be used for close combat in case the SHTF.
I’ve narrowed things down to 3 options:
Saiga .308 with modified folding stock.
M1A with HIGHLY modified stock
Kel-tec RFB carbine
Saiga is cheap, reliable AK-47 action
M1A is proven long range 600 yards capability but stock mods will run another $1,000 for bullpup config
Kel-tec is a nice all in one but runs $1,500
My decision ... make more money so I can afford all three :-)
not mine personally...mine were all lost in a tragic accident where my safe fell into an active volcano.
I was transporting my tools over to the island in a rickety row-boat when a large wave came up and all was lost.
Except, your’s truly.....
I carry one, too. It barely prints in a pair of jeans.
>>close combat in case the SHTF.<<
a 12 gauge shotgun
I fired about 900 rounds myself today. Nobody was hurt, but a lot of paper, paintballs, and water-filled milk jugs met their end.
It’s because some people get lucky.

Is that sort of behaviour allowed in WA??
