When one is really honest then they will recognize that most of us were shocked when we found out that the Mormon religion was still practicing racism while the rest of us were listening to Bruce Springsteen and watching Saturday Night Live.

The fact that Mitt Romney was a powerful Bishop in that religion practicing that anti black racism, and now he wants to defeat America’s first black President, is an interesting story.

His parents were not citizens when he was born.

it takes two parents who are citizens and be born on our territory.

If his parents were citizens of India, then he is India as well as American and therefor not a Natural Born Citizen. We don’t need any more G** damned unconstitutional presidents.

We have already discussed this assertion on this very thread. The law is against your theory.

The Church was never racist

That is simply untrue resty. You are a convert. I was a member way before 1978 when the leaders and the church as a whole were definitely racist and not only that, smug about it.

You are always lecturing others on speaking of what they don't know...well, this is something you don't know about. You are wrong.

Riiiight. Resty honey, even if that were the truth (and it isn’t) it wouldn’t matter. Think of how the liberal MSM will report it.

You can’t think they will report the LDS version of it, do you? Even for Romney?

Not really, resty. And there were some racist statements and churches but they repented 20 years before the LDS did.

Then there is the lawsuit (ACLU) factor in the manifesto.

Do you really think with this media that's how the argument would play?

Wrong. See post #446. Americans do not recognize citizenship of any other country, WE do not have ‘dual citizenship’.

According to legal precedence and common law Jindal IS natural born.

UGH.

You and I have a different reference when I say Church.

You might think of people but I think of the Lord Jesus Christ that is who I mean when I say the Church!

People are not perfect nor are they up the ideals that one conjures up in their mind that they ought to be.

GA is also made up of imperfect people who are being edified as well as the rest of God children.

Those who have the mantle keys of that priesthood calling may not always be as atune to the spirit in all ways as man would gage of another man yet growth is taking place in the Lord’s eyes which we are not always privilege to witness.

That aside everyone is growing at their own effort awareness and pace upon the face of the whole earth be it for good or evil!

When I look at my family dynamic I see now how the opposition has made it impossible for the sweet harmony all of us family members desired.

As I look at my community and remember those same issues plague this community and still does and many here go to church and come out with the same demeanor.

My folks choose not to go to church to avoid that gossip soo soo.

How many really read the scriptures to strive to apply the lessons taught if that were so we as a nation would be in a better place.

Knowing and doing are two different things and looking for ones neighbor to stumble for the opportunity to say I told you so is also not being patience and long suffering!

These various demons spirits; pride, backbiting, gossip, lying, distorting etc which afflict all of God’s children at one time or another for there is no respecter of person.

But what the Lord does promise is that when His children do include Him in their prayers and invite the Lord to be with them that day life does run smoother so one is able to cope.

There is more going on in each person life than one topic such as being bias or having incorrect ideas of another people.

When one truly grows in the Lord and not doing something because it is expected of them then they then have solid foundation that will remain with them throughout their eternity.

Each of us has enough to do to take care of our own house hold but the Lord did tell His children if someone is not up to par then pray for them and strive to have love in ones heart towards them.

I have witness the Black children have abundances of Love for pale face who has not arrived yet to their full potential.

I have also learn when people really love one another they have a special something about them which is the Spirit of the Lord towards those that have not yet arrive in their Christ like maturity!

The first step is being aware before one can prosper in their Christ like maturity.

Ether 12: 27, 35
27 And if men come unto me I will show unto them their weakness. I give unto men weakness that they may be humble; and my grace is sufficient for all men that humble themselves before me; for if they humble themselves before me, and have faith in me, then will I make weak things become strong unto them.

• • •

35 Wherefore, I know by this thing which thou hast said, that if the Gentiles have not charity, because of our weakness, that thou wilt prove them, and take away their talent, yea, even that which they have received, and give unto them who shall have more abundantly.

Acts 20: 35
35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.

D&C 135: 5
5 And it came to pass that I prayed unto the Lord that he would give unto the Gentiles grace, that they might have charity. And it came to pass that the Lord said unto me: If they have not charity it mattereth not unto thee, thou hast been faithful; wherefore thy garments shall be made clean. And because thou hast seen thy weakness, thou shalt be made strong, even unto the sitting down in the place which I have prepared in the mansions of my Father. And now I . . . bid farewell unto the Gentiles; yea, and also unto my brethren whom I love, until we shall meet before the judgment-seat of Christ, where all men shall know that my garments are not spotted with your blood. The testators are now dead, and their testament is in force.

"so, in other words.....If Romney is nominated, hypothetically, Y’all would allow Obama another term?"

I had to go back and check my post to see if that's what I had inferred. It wasn't. Besides, it seems a little early to me to be handing the GOP nomination to anyone whether it's Romney, Palin, or [insert favorite here].

I held my nose and voted for McCain in the general, as I am sure many other conservatives did, and look where it got us. Folks aren't interested in half-hearted ideas from half-hearted politicians (I kept it clean). For far too long, the GOP has failed to distinguish itself from the Democrats when it comes to domestic policy despite ample opportunity and even when the issues are gift-wrapped such as the "Health Care" bill. Now some of the GOP inside-the-Beltway types are even starting to waffle on the repeal. Our country is endangered. People want principled leadership not socialism under another brand name.

Nah. I wouldn’t vote for him. If he was the only choice then I have no clue what we would all do. But I wouldn’t be an idiot and vote for Obama like someone said on this thread. Romney would ruin the country. If we get to that point for having a bad GOP candidate, plan on all breaking lose.

Someone people here would vote third party. The Tea Party might want another candidate running. Then the GOP would signal its implosion and another party would be formed.

I am not for Romney, I agreed with Beck who went after McCain on several occasions.

I hope that things don’t go down the road that they could. If they do then plan on major problems. The people will not stand for a bad candidate on the GOP. Then the talk about no third parties will change.

Glenn Beck was always on the same page. But if it changes then that is a shame.

Meant some people here would then want another candidate who could o a better job. Watch then and everyone else start pushing a 3rd party or a new party if a Rino is the 2012 GOP nominee. I might be one of them based on the circumstances.

I meant I would have to assess the situation at that time. If Romney won the nomination then I am 100 percent against.
