Specter has to be one of the most craven politicians ever. He will sell out on every position he has ever held, and is not to be trusted or believed on anything. I guess that makes him a perfect democrat.

Yep, I was thinking that too. Specter may lose his election, as Reid may also. Specter may not even be in the next Congress to claim the results of this back room deal. Or if he is, Harry Reid may not be there to give it to him.
These guys are way too arrogant to assume that everyone wins their re-elections. It’s way too soon to talk about any of this.
