She needs to find someone to explain the tax return to her.

I thought that she was on to something there. Also on another story about the head of ICE in LA suspended and he was on Barry’s list for nomination to a position.

I really don’t care what Hannity did to her, real or perceived. That said, I have no use for those who disparage those of us that cling to our crosses and guns, but to compare me to a left-wing obamabot...ok, I’ll stop before I get in trouble.

Also, I think she’s confusing different programs run by FA. I’ve been in contact with FA. I was asked about a scholarship as my husband is permanently disabled from wounds received in Iraq, but my kids are 10 and 11...much too young for college. So it makes sense to me that FA has a lot of money in trust.

Second, she keeps railing on the fact that soldiers are only given a couple hundred bucks here and there for wounds received in action. I have the form in my email box right now directly from FA. It is for a grant based on need of UP TO a $1000. The form specifically asks what your current bills/needs are financially. Here’s language directly from the application form:

Freedom Alliance, founded in 1990 by LtCol Oliver L. North, USMC (Ret.), is a non-profit educational and charitable organization dedicated to preserving the American heritage of freedom by honoring and encouraging military service and defending the sovereignty and security of the United States.

Through the Support Our Troops grant program, Freedom Alliance provides financial assistance of up to $1,000 to assist wounded warriors and their families coping with the financial and emotional difficulties of the recovery process, as well as providing travel and lodging expenses for family members so that they can visit or stay with their loved ones.

Please give a detailed description of expenses you have or will incur which this grant will be applied toward.Remember, grants are intended to provide help with emergency expenses and provide the comforts of home.

Maybe some soldiers only needed a couple hundred bucks to pay the power bill when they were offered the grant. If anyone wants me to email them the forms, I will gladly do so.

Also, there’s not too many groups out there that give money for wounded guys without finding out if they have a financial need because the whole purpose is to help soldiers pay bills, especially if their wife or family has had to leave a job to come to the hospital. I encountered 1 when my husband was recuperating at the VA in Richmond and we were given some $$ without demonstrating a financial need and it was a local Virginia charity.

In regards to the scholarship business, a best friend of mine who lost her husband in Iraq is closely affiliated with SOWF and she said what they’re finding is that a lot of the kids go off to college and either quit or drop out. I don’t believe even they just hand a kid 30k straight out...I’m pretty sure the child has to reapply for the scholarship each year. I just checked out the website for SOWF, but there’s not too much info about the process on there. So, it makes sense to me if a charity doesn’t just hand a kid 30k right off the bat if they’re not making it through school and instead the kid has to reapply for it each year and prove they’re still in college!

Anyways, I think she’s full of it and obviously has some kind of a beef with Hannity and she’s letting it show.

Just wanted to add that most of the scholarship orgs also want you to fill out a FAFSA to see how much you are eligible for in the first place!! Even SOWF requires you to fill out a FAFSA. Don’t think she has any understanding as to how the scholarship process works.

Hannity has long said he takes commercial airlines.

He definitely needs to clear this up as the next freedom concert is about to begin.

A few weeks ago, I blew the lid off of the fraud that is Sean Hannity’s Freedom Concerts and the scam “charity” known as “Freedom Alliance.”

Really? It must have been a very quiet "blow" because I hadn't heard a thing about it.

I had never heard of her until this posting. I went to her website and read her bio. It was impressive to me; however, she does seem to have an animus toward Hannity. I know that this next part is going to get flamed, but for some reason Jews have a difficult time with Hannity. Alan Cohen and Debbie Schlussel seem to have personal grudges toward Hannity that transcend political differences. Is it Hannity’s Catholicism that irks them?
