I remember watching CSPAN rerun of the debates between Alan Keyes and Obama.
I’m convinced it was a rerun of the 3rd debate late October 2004.
The rerun was played on CSPAN sometime during the McLame and Obama debates in 2008.

I adore Alan Keyes and had to sweet talk my wife to let me watch the program with her.
I can’t remember the exact wording, But I do recall at one point after Obama had stated to Keyes that it didn’t matter because he was not running for president in response to being an American citizen or Natural born Citizen to have the type of allegiance to perform in America‘s interest, something like that. When it had occurred I distinctly remember telling my wife, “That’s it! It’s over! As soon as this video becomes aware in the media he will have to drop out.

Even afterwards that very evening after the rerun of the debate, they took callers and Obots were calling in to try and explain away that Obama wasn’t saying he was not eligible for the Presidency. I won’t forget it.

However, like the Joe six-pack I was, I thought others would pick it up and was under the delusion that we had a free press for truth. It never came to light and I do not blame Keyes for not remembering something that happened in 2004 over a Senate race.
No one needs to believe it happened, but I remember that feeling of relief I had for those few days afterwards when I had faith the truth would be known.

But I was soon to find out that the next replay of the debate, had that part removed.

The Post and Email version is very close to the way I recall it happening, and so do those Obama Zombies that were calling in to CSPAN to cover and coddle in defense of their “One”.

No video no happen. I hear ya!

But in this day in age of scrub-a-dub-dub about anything pertaining to Obama, it should not be surprising that no one can link a video. I spent hours and hours looking for evidence to no avail.

Back in the last few months of WWII (European campaign) both the Allies & the Russians were coming across and liberating Nazi death camps. Eisenhower was quickly made aware of the situation and ordered his various commands to photograph and document precisely what they were finding. Eisenhower anticipated that given a generation or two after WWII, denial would come into play. Without irrefutable & well documented proof the Nazi death camp era would be scrubbed from the history books.
Nothing, of course, this dire is implied where Obama is concerned ... only that Eisenhower made a wise decision. With Obama & the obamanistas covering their tracks by obstructing any access to potentially damaging material at the personal level, or past remarks made in the political forum ... you see first hand how the scrubbing process works.

Y’all are giving me a fine education in why law enforcement doesn’t trust eye witness testimony very much.

I hope you don’t take too much offense, Herbster, but it didn’t happen that way. I worked closely with Dr. Keyes for a decade, and I know what I’m talking about. I’m also very close to the folks who were his chief archivists during that whole time period, and we all followed every detail of these matters very, very closely. If anyone would know about this, it would be us.

Since 2008 we have also been closely involved with efforts to try and force the legal disclosure of Obama’s records. If such an exchange had occurred, the whole world would have seen it a zillion times over the last couple of years, I assure you.

This has not been “scrubbed” by anyone. It simply never existed in the first place.

No offense taken. It’s not often someone calls others delusional or a liar so politely these days.
I could be wrong on which of the 3 debates it was, but not the response from Obama.
He did not deny not being born in this country or American Citizen or natural born Citizen, something like that, he instead focused on how he wasn’t running for President, but Senator and in essence conceded the point, and I/m not talking about the “Minister of Illinois” comment, either.

After reviewing the videos that are still available, it may have been during the exchange where the accusation of Dr. Keyes being a “carpet bagger”.

I just went back and read the Post & Email again.
I didn’t watch the program in 2005 I know for sure.
But I remember this part:

“At the end of the airing of the second debate, the C-Span host noted, as he read from a single sheet of paper, placed before him, that the Obama Campaign had contacted them and requested them to point out to their viewers that Obama’s response here should not be understood as a denial that he is a natural born citizen, only that Keyes’ accusation had nothing to do with the qualifications of office of a U.S. Senator.”

I believe that the host for C-Span was Steve Scully.
And it wasn’t just the note from the Obama Campaign that he read; there were Obama callers as well.
However, I must have seen another rerun of the same program.
When I was viewing this replay it was 2008 or maybe, maybe 2007.

It happened and the exchange is on the unedited tape.

Since you are so familiar with the folks that archived this period, can you tell me why all the websites from before have a lock on all the archives?

I really did appreciate your response to my post.
After reading all that you do and are involved in, I in no way wanted to be ungrateful.
I have watched the Youtubes, the C-Spans and they just don’t have the original tape that probably was the stand up town hall version of the second debate.

My testimony to the dates and exact wording are very flimsy at best, but you are asking me to believe I did not see a murder and I did not hear the alibi’s that came later.

Did you know that you can not find any archives of Alan Keyes beyond certain dates, and all have been updated?

Do you expect me to believe that C-Span never re-aired the debates?
Because I can not find a single reference.
Am I supposed to believe that I never watched the replay on C-Span?

All the affiliates that were involved in support of the town-hall like debate, have websites that are all commonly untraceable to people like me beyond 2005.

Seeing as how you are very close to Dr. Keyes and his friends, could you please give me some dates that maybe Dr. Keyes had mentioned that C-Span was re-airing debates?

I violated my rule and posted one or two additional responses beyond where I would typically go with someone like EternalVigilance. Maybe you should ask EV for Alan K’s cellphone number since they’re so close ...

Well, in defense of EV, I do not think he realizes that the campaign got tapes from others.
The particular C-Span tape was billed as the complete version.
There were interruptions for all the debates, even the no commercial, for at least station identification.
I know, because I watched them.
I have come to understand that all the transcripts from Dr. Keyes various websites, are all performed by volunteers who watched the supplied tape or audio.

I would love for anyone to even try to find any mention of any replay on C-Span anywhere.
