Why would you ever want to watch their newscasts? Lies and bias.

Are Sumner Redstone/CBS and Disney/ABC really concerned about ratings? If they were, they wouldn’t have Couric and Sawyer as anchors, would they?

The stilted format and condescending bias of the sub-text of the Network newscasts are like being transported in a time machine two decades previously. The comical faux gravitas of Katie Couric is no longer a credible presentation. I imagine that NBC is doing better than the others because Brian Williams at least appears to have a trace of a broad sense of humor. The format is dead. The overnight newscast format seems like the template for the future.

Come on - there’s gotta be plenty of old folks home where the TV is on 24/7 and no one can get up to change the channel - that ought to count for something!

It's just a matter of time before CBS will remember fondly those glory days with “Captain Dan the Newsman” conjuring up stories from his imagination ;^)

Say Hello to Fox News.
I don’t watch ABC, CBS, NBC any more. No news as the lie and promote the democratic party. I don’t watch CNN either.
Am I a redneck right winged Tea party member?

What might be happening is that a lot of the older people watch the evening news. I think most of them are disgusted with Obama care and don’t like the reporting on the networks. Just a thought.

"Are Sumner Redstone/CBS and Disney/ABC really concerned about ratings? If they were, they wouldnt have Couric and Sawyer as anchors, would they?" It's been obvious for quite some time that the "mainstream" networks are not concerned about ratings for their phony news divisions. The purpose of these outfits is to deceive the American public and promote the leftist/liberal agenda of the Democrat Party. They will keep them afloat for the Democrats no matter how much money lose.

Is this a signal that viewers are abandoning network newscasts in droves? Ahhh,......yes, and a lot of the local news in and out of the networks horse s..., too.
