I heard about Brian running through the Hugh Hewitt Radio Show this evening. Brian was one of the lead Defense Counsel for LtCol. Chessani and his team that were persecuted by the Maggot Media and our own Perfumed Princes of the Pentagon for fighting the War in Iraq.
I don't have much, but am adding Brian to my list of folks I am supporting to help overturn the fascistic infiltration of our Constitutional Republic.
Allen West, Florida-22
Bill Russell, Pennsylvania-12
Brian Rooney, Michigan-7

Nope. Roney sounds like a good guy but nobody likes a carpetbagger.
If he runs for an instate office I’ll vote for him.

I just heard of this; can you hit the pinger list to drum up some support for Brian? He’s definitely one of the good guys we need to clobber the DemocRATs with. Thanks.

Rooney looks good. Thanks for sharing your “list” also. Another FReeper was looking for support for Tim Burns in PA-12, but then I learned about Bill Russell through doing some research. Why didn’t GOP tab him to run again? (Murtha’s seat)

What makes him a carpetbagger?

Nope. I’ll be campaigning for Tim Walberg again this year.

Carpetbagger? He worked in Ann Arbor, Michigan with Thomas More since at least 2005 - you think he just dropped in last year? Sheeesh!
Go back to DU.

The fact that he moved to the district to run.

Ann Arbor isn’t in the 7th district genius.
Go back to the DU indeed. LOL

Brian was one of the lead Defense Counsel for LtCol. ChessaniAmen, and like you say, he's one of the good guys that we need in Congress.
Thanks for the pings.

Rooney needs to run for a state legislator position to give us a feel for him.

What I meant was where did he move FROM and how long ago?
I think there is more of this now. You will recall Doug Hoffman never resided in the district he ran in: NY-23. That’s the reason some locals gave for not voting for him.

Rooney moved to Dexter less than a month before he announced he was running. I really don’t care about NY because I don’t live in NY.
His family ties to Obama are a concern as well. Like I said, he needs to run for an instate office first.
We know who Walberg is and we know what kind of man he is.

Many thanks, jaz. :^)
Seems I’ve ruffled a few hyde-bound Repuglicans here. We have too many folks who have little or no experience in the real world, but have spent their lives feeding at the troughs of public provision. They may well be good guys, but based on what I’ve seen in both major parties, we need to get over this idea that those who’ve always been in office are always more qualified than those from the private sector.

No, just people who actually live in the district, let alone the state.
