Isn't he breaking the law with this declaration or has there been some change I didn't hear about?

In that case, you better start building more housing for the gay troops and their partners. Everything a married troop gets, they get, including the big wet kiss before they’re shipped out at the unit departure.

Stand by for the harassment lawsuits, massive IG complaints and re-writes of the NCOERs and officer fitness reports due to “bias or homophobia” on the part of the rater. The gays will soon realize that they NOW have the power to change our military from the inside instead of from the outside.
I’m glad I retired in 1997. I doubt if I could make a full 20 now, or if I’d even enlist in the 1st place.
Sexual orientation has NO viable role to play in combat operations. What should always be behind closed doors, whether it be gay or hetero, should STAY behind closed doors, period.

“I’m gay, so give me a stateroom and my own shower.”
That’s how this destroys the army.
Gays will get their own rooms. Can’t have a communal bunk and shower structure. That situation is one bottle of astrolube away from a Castro Street porn set.
So, you’ll have the straight soldiers - they will eat, sleep, work, shower, bleed, and die like a team. Then you will have the gay soldiers, who will muster with everyone else, but only as ‘commuters’. They’ll be ‘amongst’ the soldiers, but not a part of them.
Hence, you can’t win.

Not that Chief of the Army Staff Casey is any better, but this was the Secretary of the Army, a civilian appointee. He is a politician first and formost.

I hope and pray we'll get a real American patriot statesman as president and these phony perfumed princes can be kicked out and go work for a defense contractor which is what most of them do....
who would want their son to join a group where homosexuals are allowed to roam around in showers and bathrooms.
then it will lead to a shortage of course...then the draft...and then good normal young men will be forced to be the eye candy for these perverts...

well, gays don’t want it to stay behind closed doors...infact one of their main proclivities is to be open and suggestive in front of all...

you’re dreaming....the soldiers will be housed all together....there will be no privacy for heteros...afterall, aren’t gays responsible and private in their dealings?.. then can be counted on to be discreet and responsible.....NOT!

Our ‘elites’ don’t seem to understand the forces are run and maned by a strata of citizens that are more physical, mechanically attuned, familiar with hunting and fishing for dynamic prey, have religious and cultural values different from the graduates of Americans fever swamps.
In other words, Bubba don’t want no queers.
But, what the heck, going into the military for the military, or health care, or college is now a sucker’s play when you can just welfare your self though school, get govey Obamacare, and a federal backed mortgage.

Neither, the secretary of the Army nor any other federal official has the power to ignore public law.
TITLE 10 > Subtitle A > PART II > CHAPTER 37 > § 654
§ 654. Policy concerning homosexuality in the armed forces
(a) Findings. Congress makes the following findings:
(1) Section 8 of article I of the Constitution of the United States commits exclusively to the Congress the powers to raise and support armies, provide and maintain a Navy, and make rules for the government and regulation of the land and naval forces.
(2) There is no constitutional right to serve in the armed forces.
(3) Pursuant to the powers conferred by section 8 of article I of the Constitution of the United States, it lies within the discretion of the Congress to establish qualifications for and conditions of service in the armed forces.
. (15) The presence in the armed forces of persons who demonstrate a propensity or intent to engage in homosexual acts would create an unacceptable risk to the high standards of morale, good order and discipline, and unit cohesion that are the essence of military capability.
Uniform Code of Military Justice (UCMJ)
Article 125Sodomy
(a) Any person subject to this chapter who engages in unnatural carnal copulation with another person of the same or opposite sex or with an animal is guilty of sodomy. Penetration, however slight, is sufficient
to complete the offense.
(b) Any person found guilty of sodomy shall by punished as a court-martial may direct.

You missed the news from yesterday. Some general saying that they will give gays ‘their own rooms’.
I think it was Drudge, but it may have been from here.
From the Army’s point of view, it can’t be any other way. Communal birthing only works for same-sex heteros. Weirdly, it also works for same-gender trannies too. It’s an inevitable incident that will forever hammer the image people have of the United States Military.
They are STILL living down Tailhook. Keep women out of the military and it would have never hit the news.
Can’t work for homos, because, well, their homosexual.
Like I said, a barracks environment for communal homosexual birthing is a plot to a bad porn flick. You are a can of lard away from a gang bang.

Well i was just about to join the army but the thought of some guy staring at me in the shower and touching me at night while i’m sleeping doesn't sit to well with me so, Nevermind.
