As such, political decision-making and allocation of resources is conflict enhancing while market decision-making and allocation is conflict reducing. The greater the number of decisions made in the political arena, the greater the potential for conflict. Instant winner! One of the best statements made in years -- and I haven't heard it anywhere else, either, not even in the Atlantic Monthly that people pay through the nose to read.

I am going to print it and give it the attention it deserves.
How did you come upon it, and is any of his other work available on the internet?

I was fortunate to have been able to break bread with Dr. Williams several times when I lived in Northern VA. Each was a learning experience!

Bravo.
However, it's too obvious and it makes too much sense for some to follow.

I have made that argument many times myself.
I think the important thing for each of us to do is recognize who the enemy is and attack.

There was another book mentioned “The Bubble” might have been the title. I’m not sure if it is available on the internet in electronic form.

That means it is a political decision whether prayers will be permitted or not. A win for one parent means a loss for another parent. The losing parent, in order to get what he wants, would have to muster up private school tuition while continuing to pay taxes for a school for which he has no use. Welcome to my world. A home school worthy ping for the lovely Marie Antoinette.
