Why are they chasing her?

She is obviously crazy.

Just let her go and keep your distance.

She is acting aggressively because they are chasing her.

She was bound to run out of gas at some point.

Was getting the ambulance back worth her life?

All the cops are all about in this country is protecting themselves. It wasn’t always this way.

The use of deadly force on someone ‘using the car as a weapon’ always made me a bit uneasy, too.

That's always a red flag with me as well. A lot of the time you have to wonder if the car really did pose an imminent threat of death or severe bodily injury.

I understand this is how the police are taught to respond in this situation. So I’d be reluctant to impugn the individual officers, but I think the policy needs looking at.
