Tragic! Prayers for his family.

30 years ago we owned 900 acres in the Texas hill country. It had a small sheep herders cabin where we spent weeks ends and summer vacations. Most times when we arrived we would find we had been broken into by wetbacks. We finally just left it unlocked to cut down on the damage. We never left knives, can openers or boots and raincoats because they would always be gone. We never saw wetbacks when we were there and never feared them. Today it would be altogether different.

I saw a tv interview with JD online, and they asked him how he felt about Sarah endorsing McCain. He said, “I’m looking forward to her endorsement of *me* after the August primaries are over!” with a big grin on his face.

I can beat that. I've been hit TWICE by drunken illegal drivers. First time they took off running and left a stolen car behind. Second time was an older lady in an unregistered car, with no driver's license, no insurance and no English skills, she told the translator she didn't want to be deported... When I asked the police officer what was going to happen to her, he said, "NOTHING. My hands are tied. I hope *you* have good insurance because this is going to cost a pretty penny. THEY LET HER WALK OFF WITH ANOTHER FAMILY MEMBER. Never came over to check on *me*, or to apologize, NADA.
