Russia and China continue to build up while we disarm.
Amateur hour in the White Hut continues
that’s the plan isn’t it?
Seems to be a rip-off updating the 1950s French AMX-13 tank.

yeah yeah.......
The T-72 was feared by everybody, highly overrated and finally shown to be mediocre at best in Desert Storm.
Yhe development of the F-15 in the late 60s was driven by unproven fears of the Mig 25. They thought it was made of seper secret lightweight alloys, etc etc.....
When Lt. Victor Belenko defected and flew one to Japan it proved to be made of plain old Aluminum and a little alloy steel. not even much Titanium alloy.
Russian weapons are ALWAYS overblown into super killer stuff that turns out to be ordinary at best, if not genuine crap.
The Chi-coms will steal the design of this tank and build 100K of them using the money that they make from Walmart.
Then they will invade Taiwan with them, thereby destroying one of Walmart’s prime manufacturing partners.
Each tank will say “We Sell For Less” on the back.
This war will wreck all trans-pacific trade for god knows how long.
Walmart will shrivel up and die.
It’s kind of like a tragic self-fulfilling prophecy all started when Sam Walton opened his first store in Bentonvelle, AR.
LOL
Too right, a Bradley chaih gun was documented to have taken out several T72s - the Russian version of the old school Zippo.
I think tank vs tank ; there is not a tank that can better the M1A2 ( or even more current versions)
But it’s not the tank entirely , it’s our crews .
They da best!
“The heck with that, release the Warthogs!”
Our gov has tried to completely kill that several times. So there will be none to release when the flag next goes up.
It does have a 360 degrees traverse range
It is reported that the T-95 MBT has a crew of three, including commander, gunner and driver. Occupants are seated in a well-protected armored capsule, separated from automatic loader and ammunition. But other than that everything is a mystery.
I guess we will know very shortly.
You know how it is with a new ride. No one wants to be first to scratch the paint...(8^D)
Yep, also 9 of 10 Iraqi T-72 are actually of domestic production made using counterfeit Polish components. It was called Asad Babil. I heard their side armor coudn’t even stand .50 MG. Not to mention Iraqis only had a post WWII sub-caliber ammo able to kill Abrams point blank only.
As for T-95 I do believe both pics posted here and the idea of new Russian tank are pure BS.
First it doesn’t look like MBT but like self-propelled howitzer so it can’t have a Russian T-XX class.
Second AFAIK T-95 or Black Eagle was a future project by Omsktransmash - a T-80 producer who was about to went bankrupt just recently after both Russian army and India choosen Uralwagonzavod T-90 instead. Note, both T-80 and T-90 are using good old T-72 chassis and their only differences are weaponary and powertrain. So, I seriously doubt being unable to bring any new design to a four decades, now bankrupt company is able to show any wonder.
Of course, they could sell out a project to third party or to Uralwagonzavod itself which is very unlikely cause these companies were never friendly towards each other.
Both weapons you talk about had differing philosophies. The Russkie tanks were meant for easy mobility using logistical networks and were supposed to be used for rapid thrusts across Europe. Unlike the western genre of tanks, which were all heavy and meant to sustain operations. It’s not for no reason, that the average western tank is at least 10 tonnes heavier than its Soviet counterpart since the T-62 days.
Same thing with the Mig-25. It was meant to be a high speed interceptor capable of taking on high speed bombers like the B-70. It had more or less the specs for that role but was pretty much good for nothing else and it was never meant to be.
A more meaningful comparison would be the Russian Mi-24 and SU-25 attack aircraft which had obvious flaws compared to their American counterparts.
I think both Mi-24 and Su-25 being just finalized were original designs and barely had any American counterparts.
The SU-25 is alleged to have drawn from the Northrop A-9 which lost out to the A-10.About the Mig-24, it was an original design, but compare it to any attack helicopter out there and it has it drawbacks.
Looks like the T-35 revisited.
Both pics are based on what we know about the T-95. I guess we will have to wait when the Russians unvail it to prove who is right and who is wrong.
