Once it was clear that the House leadership would eventually obtain the 216 votes necessary to pass health-care reform, I was left with a choice: Vote against the bill and watch it become law with no further protections for life or reach an agreement that prevents federal funding for abortions Lies. First of all, if Spupak and his gang stood their ground the Dems never would've reached 216. Secondly, Obama's executive order isn't law, and won't prevent federal abortion funding.
Stupak = pro-abortion.

Bart now wants 15 million federal taxpayer dollars to paint the Mackinac Bridge.
I live in Virginia. Why is this my responsibility?

He could have saved himself a lot of words and wrote, “Because I’m a Democrat, dummy”.
The only justice is that the New, Big F*cking Deal will follow this soul-less attention whore to his grave, and beyond.

Save it stupak...you’re a sellout and will forever be known as the traitor who brought down America...and...a liar.

Stupak seems to be reasoning that since most pro-life people are conservatives who would not have wanted most of the other provisions of Obamacare, that was the only reason they wanted Stupak to hold out for his amendment.
That EO is not going to do squat. Some almost universally loathed abortion advocate (so as to take the lightning rod away from Planned Barrenhood) is going to sue and that EO will be gone like a sheet of toilet paper before a 12 inch cannon.

Let’s give Stupid the benefit of the doubt and say the executive order will stop government funded abortion. I want to know why he voted for a bill that destroys the economy, bankrupts the country, ruins our health care system and shreds our right to privacy?

Why should we bother to read what you have to say, Bart? There is nothing on the market that is cheaper than your word.
To: Steelfish
More recently, in 2007, President George W. Bush signed Executive Order 13435, restricting embryonic stem-cell research. This executive order protected the sanctity of life and was applauded and welcomed by pro-life advocates. That these same people would now claim that President Obamas executive order maintaining the sanctity of life is not worth the paper it is written on is disingenuous at best.Really, Judas?
Obama rescinded that EO with another one.
So, stick it where the sun don't shine, you quisling.

executive orders have carried the full force and effect of law and have served as an important means of implementing public policy. Perhaps the most famous executive order was the Emancipation ProclamationBwahahahahahaha!
