Oh yeah, thats it. Blame Bush. How about blame all the dumb asses who voted for Obama?! If it wasn't for the GOP squandering the gift Reagan gave them, those dumbasses wouldn't have had the power to elect anyone. Some of us remember when the Democrats were gasping for air and had no idea how to keep up with the "party of ideas". It turned out the Democrats didn't have to do a thing. The Republicans under the leadership of the Bush dynasty closed the gap for them.

America has been going down the tube for over 10 years now.
It reached the “Peter Principle”.
It is why I left in 2005, never to return.
I really feel for those that are too young to retire, or
do not have the means to get out of the new USSA.

A little too late, but the repubs gave them hell today. This is what they should have been about for years.

Conservatives who chose NOT to vote in 2006, to teach the US a lesson are to blame. Conservatives who stayed home November 20008 are to blame. I'm not buying that. There were very few conservatives who really stayed home. Most all of them voted for McCain. However, when talking to an uninformed voter what could anyone say, other than that he's not Obama, in order to convince them to vote for McCain? That does not win elections. Conservatives are not to blame for this Maoist regime. Obama won because Republicans did not govern with principle and McCain was a weak establishment candidate.
By the way, reminding your idiot neighbors that they put this tyrant in office is not helpful either. We need to nominate dynamic conservatives and fight like hell to get them elected.

What fight? Against the massive PR campaign the Administration is launching, to sell the new bill, and to save the democrats this November. We shouldn't allow that to happen uncontested.

While they were in power, Republicans squandered an opportunity to push free market health care solutions. When they did use their power to pass major legislation, it was for policies like the big government Medicare prescription drug plan, which was (until today) the largest expansion of entitlements since the Great Society. They took earmarks and doled out farm and energy subsidies. They earned a reputation for fiscal recklessness and corruption and incompetent governance. Difficult to disagree with the above. HW's and W's "compassionate conservatism" was/is virtually indistinguishable from "progressivism." The direction the GOP has taken since Reagan left office has proved to be disastrous, and has paved the way for an Arabist/socialist like Obama to become President.

The GOP pandered to the Left and moved to the center to “stay in power.” It didn't work. It never works. We need a conservative party that will fight for power by sticking to its principles. The Left does this. The Taliban does this Al Quaida does this. But McCain, and the GOP panders to its enemies and gets its head handed to it every time.
