I think we have to face the fact that within the US there are MANY supporters of Israel, however within our government with ill regard for OUR( We the People) views and beliefs, our government is dealing a daily “post Judeo-Christian( Obama’s words) “ ethic.

Exactly. Obama has, remarkably, "out Palestinianed" the Palestinians. But the Palestinians can't allow anyone to be more Palestinian than themselves. So they must take an even more extreme position, to which Israel can't possibly agree (demanding the eradication of the entire neighborhood, extending the settlement freeze to Jerusalem generally, or whatever) and refuse to negotiate until these new, escalated demands are met.
Even more remarkably, Obama already made this same mistake once. When he came to office, the Israelis and Palestinians were engaged in direct talks. Settlement construction wasn't a barrier to negotiation, it was something to be negotiated. Obama made an issue of settlement construction and forced the Palestinians to react by stopping negotiations and demanding a freeze as a precondition to, rather than a subject of, negotiations.
So now Obama's made an issue of settlement constructions which previously weren't even part of the freeze demands, forcing the Palestinians to take even more extreme and intransigent positions.
And yet even yet more remarkably, Hillary argues that this inexplicably inept tragedy of errors is "paying off"?!
Up is down. Black is white. Cats and dogs sleeping together. One can not claim a shred of sanity and hold Obama's foreign policy as anything but an EPIC FAIL.
