next we have to find all the goodies that have already been promised and kill those appropriations when GOP gets the majority
Sen. Colburn, I was naked applauding you when I heard this!! (Was listening to Rush in the shower when he announced it.)
Well, before you dress, head down to the Congressional showers and see if you can swing a few votes to our side.
I think he should do this to anyone who "votes yes", regardless of how they voted in the past.
Other than that minor nitpick, a great statement. About time somebody stands up for us.
WTG Senator!
As a Southern redneck myself, I agree!
At breakfast with a co-worker I put forth a suggestion: our Congressmen should pool their staffers and set up a rotating duty for some of them: Official Maintainers of The Cut List(tm). Sen. Bunning should NEVER have been hung out to dry when he insisted on pay-go. There should have been legions of allies with The List in hand. “how to pay for it?” “Cut THIS...or THIS” we should never want for a long list of things to cut from the budget, and WHO had those wasteful projects in their district.

I just called his office and said thanks, that we are working like hell to do our part, glad to see the Republican Senators up there fighting as well.
Watch the vid so Senator Coburn knows you support what he’s doing.
His local office number is:
918-581-7651
I also was very impressed with what Sen. Coburn and the other Senate Republicans came out with a few days ago. They are going full body-parts to the wall on this.

Thank you! I hope you’ll consider passing this one on as well —

The left declared war when they decided to suborn the will of the people and try to ram this garbage down our throats.
Looks like the good guys might finally be mounting an offensive.
We've been playing defense too long.
He also said he will put a hold on post-retirement appointments given to buy yes votes. Such as for Bart Gordon, who was just promised appointment as NASA Administrator for his yes vote (peeling off from the Stupak group, BTW) and the other TN Senator who was just promised the Ambassadorship to NATO for his yes vote.
Coburn is willing to take on both parties for deeply held beliefs. Sometimes he ruffles feathers in the GOP but definitely a leader not a follower.
Yes, that falls under the category of “work to ensure that you do not profit from it”.
