I have the same situation here in Texas 27. I am not writing but calling the DC office just to sound off. Hope that helps.

Call him. A letter is a waste of ink & postage.

My household calls both of Boxer's offices (So Cal and DC),Pelosi, and Feinsten.
I say let them hear just how many poeple are against them. Their staff tend to get a little "fussy" so you know there have been a lot of calls. heh

Write him and tell him that you will do anything that you can to kick his little Moslem Ass out of YOUR US House of Representatives if he vote for this POS!

I understand your frustration. I'm stuck with two liberal Democrat senators here in Colorado. But I called both of their offices anyway.

“Yes, you should always voice your opinion to your elected officials”.
My Senators are Arlen Specter and Bob Casey. How do you think I feel? I have sent them faxes letting them know my opinion about health care, cap and trade, the Fed Reserve etc every week for a year. I feel that if nothing else it makes me feel better and causes someone in the office a couple of seconds to delete them. I also think that the sheer volume of correspondence will eventually send the message that there are still people paying attention to every move they make and calling them on it. Don’t stop sending them your opinion. It’s not only a right, a responsibility. Do it!

YES!
Mine is a Pelosi puppet but I have no intent of letting him be voted out of office without knowing why.

My congresscritter replies to letters/emails/faxes with reformatted DNC talking point press releases. I assume all dissenters’ names are kept on file. *I* don’t want to hear a knock on my door at 3 am...
To: MplsSteve
The only impact your letter/phone call will have is to make you feel better.

I’m going to send a note in November.

It’s a little late to write. I would call or email. Several times.

I've been e-mailing my congress critters many times and all I get in return is a form letter thanking me for my support.
I don't recall voicing any "support" in my mailings.
They are both dems and they're not listening.
I didn't vote for them. I have no representation.
Sigh!

Contacting a politician in any way does absolutely no good,
and could get you on a list for future persecution.

There are only a few really idealogues out there. A guy like Kucinich is one.
The vast majority wish a career in politics by keeping their job. They will not fall on their own sword for Zer0 any more than he would for them.
So yes, write or call him. He is in defense mode right now.
