As a Boomer who followed all the rules, I'm getting a little tired of this.

This is something we may see if we don’t get back the WH in 2013. The US could be the magnet by lowering taxes and attracting UK and EU talent. In 20 years, Europe may have Sharia law, not so good for business.
On the contrary, the road to socialism could be set in stone in the US with passage of 0bamacare. Many boomers will be looking to populate emigrate enclaves as they transition to retirement. The weather and the health care will be better. Maybe I’ll go Costa Rica and bump into Rush getting a medical procedure. I have also been helping my high school girls with foreign languages.

My son in college was taking a US government course taught by a self-admitted ACLU socialist. This professor took glee in the fact that the kids in the class were going to be his debt slaves and take care of him when he retired. My son told him he was nuts, that his generation would toss him in the gutter to live in a cardboard box and think nothing of it. When the rest of the kids chimed in to support my son, the professor suddenly got the look of a deer in the headlights.
The “chump” generation has no concern about taking care of their elders. When they are in charge, the boomers better get ready for some hard times.

These people are not likely to take kindly to the Entitlement Generation.
My buddies and I talked about this. Poland seems attractive. But I am American, damnit. We are a race of people unto ourselves. Why should we leave? It is our turn to be like our founding fathers and start our own revolution.
