I don’t need to change reality when I say that Breaker Morant was born in Somerset and moved to Australia when he was 19, making him an Englishman who lived in Australia and joined an Australian regiment (although even that wasn’t even considered separate from the British Army until 1901, which means when he joined up in 1899, he actually joined the British Army)...

It's good to hear that some Kiwis are still valourous enough to serve, even if they have to serve in the British army.

Makes me wonder why he didn't stay in the NZ army if he wanted Afghan experience .....
