What does qualified to you mean? Nancy Pelosi? Obama? Biden? Romney? Or an honest wall street banker or trial attorney?

For certain people even Jesus Christ won't be qualified enough......Reasoning; a lost art. Media news qualifies for certain individuals.

Thank GOD the framers of this constitution had qualified people coming from their farms, factories ,offices, etc to establish this great country. Could be that maybe they had common sense rather than”qualified”.

What a disaster the unqualified electorate(certain voters) ; (and elected vetted qualified persons)have created for us. What does qualified mean? How is it identified and obtained?

There are lots of ways to look at the experience issue. It's important, but what's most important is what you accomplished, and whether you have experience and talent as an executive type.

One of the reasons congressmen and senators don't become president very often has to do with congress being a legislative body, an executive has to make decisions, and drive the agenda rather than just speak about it. It's one of the reasons Bambi can't do his job very well (for which we can be thankful), he has zero experience at being an executive type. McCain, for all his "experience" is not an executive at all. Pence, DeMint, Kasich, and others, have never held an executive position.

Executives, good ones, are leaders. All executives are not good ones, nor are they leaders. Romney finished his term, was an executive, but his main achievement seems to be the Massachusetts health care system that is not doing well. Clinton was a multi-term governor with plenty of "executive experience", but he accomplished nothing substantive in his state. Likewise Huckabee, and I'm not even sure Reagan's terms as governor were particularly distinguished by great accomplishments.

Sarah, is first and foremost a leader. She has an executive personality, and a good one. Her accomplishments as a two and a half year governor can stack up against any candidate out there. The idea that she is inexperienced is a total canard, and lacks understanding of what that means. She has a conservative vision for America, understands the basics of economic strength in free enterprise, military supremacy, and social conservatism through moral strength.

It doesn't hurt that she's telegenic, and when people actually see her and listen, they like her. She's been vocal on virtually every issue that is important today, and has been leading the conservative charge against this phony bunch of democrats. No one else comes close.

First of all, I am impressed you’re here on a Saturday night! Secondly, your comments are spot-on! Senators and House members also have unfortunate voting records that trail them forever.

I agree with everything you eloquently stated about our Sarah!!! We can dance around the other “conservatives” but they’d better start shining now if they’re up to the task.

Just put my hot date to bed for the night......I'm not sleepy yet.......

:-)

There are a lot of good conservatives out there, governors, senators, congressmen, radio personalities, pundits, etc. There are only a few that even have the chance to become president, of those I don't see anyone better than Sarah. If one steps forward, I'll listen.

I hope she runs.

This is what I want to see more of Palin.

Serious, focussed, business-like, and tough as nails.
