Alaska takes on the rest of the nation. With their delusions of grandeur. I give, you win.

You're running out of feet to stick in your mouth

I finally got it. Been on FR since 96, never noticed all the trolls and such like other sites. Palin brings them out I guess. I just wish she still was gov up here, we’d be better off in Ak.

Surely she can find some people at National Geographic who have actually done documentaries before?

National Geographic? In other words, you would rather it use taxpayer PBS funding? How Conservative of you.

If it’s a documentary then why is she contacting reality show producers? Surely she can find some people at National Geographic who have actually done documentaries before?

Maybe she wants a real audience to watch it.

Sarah can draw a large audience, even on over the air TV.

Larger share ratings mean more money.

You've been around FR for 10 years, surely you can find a rational question before you post.

Get help from someone from National Rational Thought Institute, someone that's actually posted a rational question.

He also does documentaries as well, he did in the past and most recently, you dont like Palin and you will use any small non-issue to discredit her, but you actually drive some on here away with such DU and Daily Kos talking points

Hope it goes well for her and she keeps control of it. A lot of people who get involved in such things get something other than what they had in mind.

Also hope it doesn’t turn into a nature/wildlife documentary, plenty of those, but focuses on the people, what challenges they faced, how they overcame them.

Tell me, Bugs, what is our friend from Alaska legally free to do that you or I are not free to do? Wasn’t that really the issue being discussed? Despite your successul attempt at demonstrating that you can post an animated .gif.

Another Romney-bot? No matter how much you try to trash Sarah Palin it will not help gain support for the dead fish known as Mit Romney. Just today there are articles out that are exposing Romney care for the disaster that it is. With a price tag of 47 Billion, the Massachussetts health care system has been made more unstable and costly than it would have been if they had done nothing. And, what great benefit have the people of the state realized? Almost nothing. The percentage of people covered only went up 3 percent.

As RomneyCare explodes, so does mittens chances. Your attempt to trash Palin will not help him.

Also some of Churchill’s best zinger came fro W. C. Fields and much still in use today goes back to Vaudeville.

There is very little new material and much commonly in use can’t be sourced

The label 'reality show producer' is just something the article slaps on them- they are just producers. Mark Burnett has a very diverse portfolio.

Perhaps you could identify the non-reality shows in his diverse portfolio. Mark Burnett Filmography

“National Geographic? In other words, you would rather it use taxpayer PBS funding? How Conservative of you. “

That doesn’t make any sense. PBS doesn’t pay National Geographic to do documentaries, they pay National Geographic for the right to show their programs. Why, because people like to watch them and contribute to their procurement.

Where are the taxpayers involved?

Why do you still believe this? Palin just said it whats it about on fox, this article just stated it and we’ve been stating since last night this reality show bit was false, if you need any proof CNN website says a source said it wouldn’t have her family in it, just maybe Sarah being commentator from time to time.

Live for the Moment- More of a documentary than reality show
Are you smarter than..., Amnesia, et al - Game Show
Many Award show productions
Global Frequency- SciFi TV series
Are we there yet- Movie
40 Year Old Virgin- Movie
Also, his very early career they don’t have on IMDB, he started out making documentaries.

Also, what’s consistent, he is successful at producing all of these and making a major profit without the use of taxpayer funding unlike, say, the previously suggested Ken Burns or National Geographic.

They need to get National Geographic or The Discovery Channel involved in the filming. They have brilliant cinematographers.

Neither of those has cinematographers on their payroll. They're really not even producers to any great extent. Independent production companies come up with the ideas and pitch them to the various outlets, who buy or don't buy. If they buy the idea, the production company hires a crew and makes the show. This is exactly what Mark Burnett is doing right now, pitching to the outlets.

PBS doesn’t pay National Geographic to do documentaries, they pay National Geographic for the right to show their programs.

Which in turns funds them making more documentaries. It is a cycle. National Geographic is a non-commercial, non-profit enterprise whose finances comes from selling content to groups like PBS (who run off taxpayer funding).

How's it going to help her presidential run otherwise?
