Yep, we were full of it and probably close to a third of the crewmembers in our wing at that time were prior enlisted and older than the young lieutenants. We more “mature” officers probably didn’t set the best example for the young’uns but it was fun at time and kept everyone motivated. Besides, it was Minot with the long winters some diversions were necessary.

I was at Minot 77 to 80. Also was at Ellsworth from 85-89. Two tours at Offutt in between. My prior enlisted time caught up with me in 93 when they were drawing down and I retired in Nebraska.
