I guess the GOP decided it did not want the votes of conservatives this year.

Have you looked around and noticed that there are not all that many conservatives around in California. We cannot always get the ideal candidate. Grown ups realize that we make progress incrementally. And besides just who do you want for governor? Why don't you run? What conservative would you suggest voting for? Give me some answers. If you don't have a conservative, then what do you suggest? I so damn sick and tired of you people who have absolutely no answers other than longing for the perfect conservative candidate who is going to ride up on a white horse. Where is this guy? You guys (or gals) are causing us to lose elections. You are the reason the Democrats control Congress. You are a huge part of the problem. You are like a child who breaks his toys when he doesn't get his way. Grow up.

Same old swan song of the RINOs in the GOP.

Not interested in compromising anymore.

Last-time I did that, too my shame, I voted for Arnold.

Look what it got us!

Oh, and thanks for labeling me a child by your post.

Good luck with compromising your morals.

You know, it would be better if the GOP candidates in California would stand for something and effectively communicate their conservative positions and lose honorably, rather than put up a candidate who represents about 50% of our positions, and maybe less.

You'll never win with incrementalism in California, ain't going to happen.

California voters will have to learn that their choices in representation have consequences. California will have to crash and burn before common sense will ever return.

You approach, incrementalism and compromising on core principles, is doomed to failure and will have exactly the opposite effect you desire. It will tarnish the GOP brand and make it ever weaker.

Good luck with that approach.

Does anyone think Perry will take Texas out of the Union once he’s reelected?

Not interested in compromising anymore.

You should read some political theory. Not compromising in your personnel life may be a good way in which to live. In fact it can be noble. But as a great political writer once said: "...politics is the art of compromise.".

When you don't have the votes you do the best deal you can all the while looking to the future and how you can improve your conditions. People who say they are not going to compromise in politics always come on on the short end of the stick. There are few moral victories in not compromising. There is also more than one way to skin a cat. If you are really against abortion as you claim, then get involved in organizations which are working on this in non-governmental ways. There are a number of these organizations out there. If you didn't read my comments for the record I'm pro life. But I cannot change the world. And as I said I wouldn't vote for the local water commissioner based upon abortion. You need to learn to pick your fights. You also need to learn that there are times to fight and times to back off.

Always remember; perfection is the enemy of the good.

Self righteous posturing? No. Math-boy made a blusterous post demanding my professional qualifications and I simply obliged. Doing so has little effect upon my original point about the majority of the electorate being dumb. Note that I did not specifically include *you* or anyone else in that observation, though several have since provided ample reason why they should have been.

You must have miss the part where I said piss off.

I don't give a rat's ass about your "professional qualifications" ... it's your narcissistic personality that launches you into the ahole sector of the of the spectrum.

Over and out coni, you don't interest me.

Agreed. I’m glad the she-rino is not going to get a shot at the governor’s mansion. At least not this time around...

This is good...not that Perry is an ideal choice, but hopefully now Ms. “9-11 truther” Medina will crawl back under the rock she came from, and all of her backers will vote for a sensible and viable candidate in the general...

Define irony: the same guy running around screaming “piss off” is complaining about others falling in “the ahole sector of the of the spectrum.” Nuff said.

If you are a conservative, PREPARE TO BE CALLED A RACIST AND A HATER a lot, and I mean a lot, between now and November. The girlyman started every sentence off with the “racists and haters on the right”. I’m starting to see a pattern building. The White Commies are going to be throwing the race card all over the place.

Lucky for yall, I am immune to the race card and will be selling racial passes for conservatives on LOL!!!!

We need Justice Thomas to leave the court and run for president, but we would forfeit 1/9 of 1/3 of the government for what would surely be a repudiation by the dumb American people.
