I have sympathy for the children. They did not choose to be born to evil monsters or to live in a country ruled by one.

It happened in Fremont, Ohio, the paper is the Fremont News Messenger. You could probably go to their website and do a search, the Toledo Blade also did a few stories on it.

"Genocide is customary in that part of the world, it seems. Just what is is about the Moose?"

Well, it just goes with the territory when you worship Satan.

The Kurds, of course. We let them down after Gulf War I.

Children are precious, even when they look different.

Amen and God bless you for saying it.

AND Syria. I’ve been reading some Iraqi forums (forums written and run by Iraqis) to try to learn about this region, and a lot of them are increasingly skeptical of Syria, as they are seen (rightly) as harboring terrorists that have carried out attacks in Iraq. Most Arab Iraqis are ambivalent about Iraqi Kurdistan, except for the city of Kirkuk, which is still a debated topic.

“I have faith that with time, new technologies, science, communications, new generations will inevitability marry Islam with modernity.”

Although I’ve read many intelligent postings of yours, I could not agree LESS with your prescription for the Islamic world.

Iraq was one ot the most modern Islamic countries. They had science, enough to do the chemistry for waging chemical attacks on the Kurds and the Iranians. They used their communications to control, like Big Brother.

Read the following to understand the ONLY WAY that the Islamic world will be changed.

Hamas’ Christian convert: I’ve left a society that sanctifies terror

By Avi Issacharof

A moment before beginning his supper, Masab, son of West Bank Hamas leader Sheikh Hassan Yousef, glances at the friend who has accompanied him to the restaurant where we met. They whisper a few words and then say grace, thanking God and Jesus for putting food on their plates.

It takes a few seconds to digest this sight: The son of a Hamas MP who is also the most popular figure in that extremist Islamic organization, a young man who assisted his father for years in his political activities, has become a rank-and-file Christian. “I’m now called Joseph,” he says at the outset.

Masab knows that he has little hope of returning to visit the Holy Land in this lifetime.

“I know that I’m endangering my life and am even liable to lose my father, but I hope that he’ll understand this and that God will give him and my family patience and willingness to open their eyes to Jesus and to Christianity. Maybe one day I’ll be able to return to Palestine and to Ramallah with Jesus, in the Kingdom of God.”

Nor does he attempt to hide his affection for Israel, or his abhorrence of everything representing the surroundings in which he grew up: the nation, the religion, the organization.

“Send regards to Israel, I miss it. I respect Israel and admire it as a country,” he says.

“You Jews should be aware: You will never, but never have peace with Hamas. Islam, as the ideology that guides them, will not allow them to achieve a peace agreement with the Jews. They believe that tradition says that the Prophet Mohammed fought against the Jews and that therefore they must continue to fight them to the death.”

Is that the justification for the suicide attacks?

“More than that. An entire society sanctifies death and the suicide terrorists. In Palestinian culture a suicide terrorist becomes a hero, a martyr. Sheikhs tell their students about the ‘heroism of the shaheeds.’”

And yet, in spite of the criticism of the place he left, California can’t make the longings disappear.

“I miss Ramallah,” he says. “People with an open mind. ... I mainly miss my mother, my brothers and sisters, but I know that it will be very difficult for me to return to Ramallah soon.”

Bravo for setting the record straight.

Islam cannot be reformed.

Jesus, of the New Testament, not the Koran, is the only way that there will be peace in the Middle East.

"“How dreadful are the curses which Islam lays on its votaries! Besides the fanatical frenzy, which is as dangerous in a man as hydrophobia in a dog, there is this fearful fatalistic apathy. The effects are apparent in many countries. Improvident habits, slovenly systems of agriculture, sluggish methods of commerce, and insecurity of property exist wherever the followers of the Prophet rule or live.

A degraded sensualism deprives this life of its grace and refinement; the next of its dignity and sanctity. The fact that in Mohammedan law every woman must belong to some man as his absolute property‹either as a child, a wife, or a concubine must delay the final extinction of slavery until the faith of Islam has ceased to be a great power among men.

Individual Muslims may show splendid qualities. Thousands become the brave and loyal soldiers of the Queen; all know how to die; but the influence of the religion paralyses the social development of those who follow it.

No stronger retrograde force exists in the world. Far from being moribund, Islam is a militant and proselytizing faith. It has already spread throughout Central Africa, raising fearless warriors at every step; and were it not that Christianity is sheltered in the strong arms of science -the science against which it had vainly struggled -the civilisation of modern Europe might fall, as fell the civilisation of ancient Rome.”

I appreciate what you all are saying, and you probably are correct.

I just can't imagine Islam surviving the next few generations. I cannot imagine its young giving up their freedom too.

But if it does, if the so-called moderates lose...then so do we, and someday the US and Israel will have to fight a real war/crusade, and we will need a ruthless SOB President to do so.

Remember, when you start feeling sympathy for Kurds, that they were active participants in the destruction of the Christian Armenian Communities in eastern Turkey.

In the early 1900’s, The Kurds were settled by the Turkish government in the homes and villages of Armenian Christians where they stole their land, food, children and women.
They had an active role in the Armenian Genocide.

“I just can’t imagine Islam surviving the next few generations.”

Islam, in its current form, has existed since the 600’s.

The Industrial Age, the Age of Enlightenment, the Renaissance, multi-culturalism, globalism - all passed it by.

It will survive in its current form if and until the rest of the world gets over their differences and realizes that Jews, Chistians, animists, pagans, atheists, agnostics, Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, etc, ALL have something VERY MUCH in common.

We are ALL in the Cross-Hairs of the Umma and its fanatics and they are no longer over there. Our stupidity has permitted them to come HERE.

Amen!

Tyrants of the world better listen - everything that is hidden is going to be made public....

Who knows which tyrant God is going after next!

We can always trust God to honor those who follow Him - such as George W Bush and such as Sarah Palin = just to name two.
