Ah, Iraq was so much better under Saddam.
/sarcasm and a quote from many DU posters.
Wow, thanks.
I had no idea that MSNBC refused to release the vid...there is a petition to sign too.
Thank you. I thought “Anfal” may have been a typo. Yes, I remember seeing pics of the murdered victims in Iraqi’s Kurdish region a long time ago. It was terrible, no doubt!
But they still have Iran to help push Israel into the sea.
a campaign against the Kurds in 1980sBut other than that, what did Saddam Hussein do to warrant removal from office by an illegal foreign invasion? /needisarcmore
And Kuwait would be an Iraqi territory.
History will the judge.
Our Humane Society recently raided a house with 32 dogs and various other animals. Inside were 6 adopted kids by two guys, the animals are still in our custody pending a court trial. It was definitely a puppy mill and I believe the kids were the worker bees.
The children have already been returned since the house is now cleaned up...what does this say about humans vs. animal rights?
Lastly, what children’s service group gave them six kids? Several were bi racial and some were mentally handicapped. Good Grief!
You can’t rely on the system. Hunt the perps down and go vigilante on them.
If people won’t do what needs to be done then humanity ought to go extinct.
>> Killing and burying alive the people of these villages. It costed over 200,000 lives of innocent Kurds.
Sadam was an evil scumbag. It’s good that entire Senate backed up Bush’s decision to address that problem.
Wow. If one digs deep enough it becomes very clear. Too bad it’s not front page material.
If I was in charge of the media, this would be headline news. Shake up those head-in-the-sand “Cindy Sheehan” type imbeciles who didn’t give a rat’s behind about the people and children of Iraq. Waving peace signs and chanting “no war for oil” never brought freedom to anyone. It never saved a life. It never saved a child living in a dictator’s world.
I’m proud to have known soldiers who helped bring down Saddam and his regime of terror. My son did his part.
Thanks for the post. It’s another good one of the Iraqi bloggers who have fled to the US so they can talk about how America destroyed their peaceful, civilized land. I’ll be sure they read it.
The DNC/MSM/Hollywood/Academia propaganda war against the US was staggering, and I hope never to be repeated.
It is one of my life passions now to destroy them, discredit them at every turn, every minute, of every day, to every soul I meet.
You LIE! Bammy and the Dems told me that Saddam never had no WMD’s and the U.S. never found any and they never found any evidence of them. They where not shipped to Syria and where not ready at any time to reconstitute their WMD production.
Send this to Obama and Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wa). I’d send it to Murtha but emails don’t reach into Hell.
FYI.
I don’t mean to be callous, but the Kurds are Muslims. Kurds actually helped the Turks exterminate Armenian Christians in the early 1900’s.
And just recently, there was an article about a bunch of Kurds in Turkey who buried one of their female alive because she kept talking to boys.
Its hard for me to have any sympathy for Muslims of any stripe. If the Kurds had their way they would be burying Arab Children, or Assyrian or Chaldean Christians in Iraq.
“IRAQ WAS BETTER OFF BEFORE BUSH’S INVASION AND WAR FOR OIL!!!”
/stupid STOOPID liberal anti-war, anti-military, anti-American meme
