You are mincing, and you're avoiding the point.

I am not avoiding the point - you have completely missed mine. This conversation is about people who carry the same political beliefs as the GOP being welcome in the GOP. That was my original point: that some gays do.

By contrast, homosexuals insist that we accept their belief in an equivalent alternative social unit.

Not all homosexuals insist that; yet you keep making this stereotyping assertion and have built your entire argument on it. I have repeatedly stated that I know multiple gay people that prove it false.

It is my opinion that the large silent majority of the gay community also are of the more of the "live and let live" variety but we only hear from the pushy loudmouths.

Move past your stereotyping. Accept each individual based on their actions.

This discussion has become foolish. I know of none, zero, homosexuals who think heterosexual unions are a superior family unit to homosexual unions— nor do you. Homosexuals engage in homosexual activity because they believe it is an equivalent alternative lifestyle. That belief erodes the sanctity of the family. Deny and spin as much as you want in the name of “diversity” and “tolerance”, but you are self-deluded.

Heck, I was just going to close up shop for the night and saw this thread. More about GOProud, the GOP, and whether "gays" are trying to infiltrate it. Answer: why, yes, yes they are. Here’s the GOProud agenda. Note that these homosexual agenda pushers with a fake label on want to “hold the line” on gov spending. Hold the freaking line? WHen it’s way over in the “insane” territory? And punish other countries who are mean to sexual perverts? Sheesh! And of course they like “hate crimes” bills - not exactly small government - and employment protection (aka “you can’t fire homosexuals”).

I agree -there is no sterotypical homosexual. Just as there is no stereotypical brick layer or sheep herder... They are brick layers or sheep herders ONLY when laying bricks or herding sheep -such is the homosexual -its all about actions NOT identities...

Homosexual actions do not support conservative values, supporting homosexual actions does not support conservative values, and promoting homosexual actions does not support conservative values... There is no room for the homosexual agenda in the GOP...

You missed my point -you unwittingly push an agenda when you premise your opinions on a fallacy -the fally that there ARE homosexual beings. As I said, it is all about action -that is ALL. e.g. two hetrosexual men want marriage benefits because they love each other, care for each other, live together, etcetera (they happen to be grandfather and grandson) versus two hetrosexual men unrelated who love each other, care for each other, live together, etcetera BUT they have anal sex with each other...

Do you get it yet?
