Ask and we shall receive. Thanks!
You’re welcome.
P.S. Mr. “King”
I could make any theologically off the wall statement I liked and then tell you that if you don’t like it, go talk to God. I’d sound awfully intimidating and impressive wouldn’t I? I also would not dare.
Here’s to let you know the King wants me to let you know that you should not talk nonsense about Scripture.
Admit it, you are really Windowsphobic.
But XP at least, can be quite fast, and lots of freeware help makes it so. See a few suggestions i posted here: http://forums.christiansunite.com/index.php?topic=25745.msg283037#msg283037
And then there are those who are more manifest in their hatred of the ultimate Moral Authority:
Communism begins where atheism begins (Karl Marx)
The first requisite for the happiness of the people is the abolition of religion (Karl Marx)
I wish to avenge myself against the One who rules above. (Karl Marx)
The hellish vapors rise and fill the brain, till I go mad and my heart is utterly changed. See this sword? The prince of darkness sold it to me. (Karl Marx)
Harris calls for forcing all religious witch doctors out of our lives before they explode the bomb, as if the objectively baseless moral reasoning which atheism operates out is not that which Mao, Pol Pot and other atheists relied upon, doing what seemed “reasonable” to them for the greater good.
But while atheists can be relatively good, as God give man an innate sense of right and wrong, (Rm. 2) and cultural influence can help, yet the “golden compass” of man easily points South, but the transcendent morality of the Bible always points North. And actually disallows such things as the Inquisitions, etc, which atheism invokes as the legacy of religion. More: http://peacebyjesus.witnesstoday.org/Atheism1.html
Today’s generation is the most Biblically ignorant and morally confused generation America has ever raised, and thus is very susceptible to the “political religion” which atheism is conducive to, as man will always worship someone of something. See here for a recent example of recruitment: http://www.investors.com/NewsAndAnalysis/Article.aspx?id=521994 Gov’t Funds Go To Train Teens As ‘Organizers’
How can a gay be ‘conservative’? What is traditional about being gay? It would be kind of hypocritical to claim to want to ‘conserve’ the tradition of limited government, etc., while at the same time desiring a change in values held for thousands of years in all cultures. Gays might be more consistent being ‘libertarians’. To me, that would make more sense.
HiTech-
Not understanding what you are talking about-
What part about scripture am I posting thats nonsense?
Also think you may be misunderstanding me. My point was that Christ is MY King and not just AT church but in my walk.
If you were thinking I was talking badly about scripture, I’m sorry- Exactly the opposite.....
