It’s really not hard for kids to see the inconsistencies of liberal thinking. They’re certainly smart enough and often not brainwashed enough.
And kids just HATE hypocrisy.
For all the criticism of how homeschoolers are supposed to be so *sheltered*, we, and everyone in the homeschool support groups I was in, weren’t. We were constantly exposed to liberal thinking processes from kids in the neighborhood, kids on the swim team, relatives, stuff on television, etc. That gave us plenty of opportunity to discuss PC nonsense and expose its flaws.
Getting an accurate view of history is important so we can learn from it. Those are good suggestions.
1877 was the tipping point for a lot of insidious ideas.
But if you REALLY wanted to get to the beginning of the undermining of individual liberty in the 1791 Bill of Rights, it was with the suppression of the Whiskey Rebellion in 1793, which was every bit as much over unfair taxes as the original Revolution but even George Washington couldn’t see it.
