I am a fiscal conservative when it comes to issues affecting people’s pockets, and pocketbooks, and wallets....
(Scott Brown said this 12 days ago.)

Why does he think he was elected?
I don’t know why HE thinks he was elected.
Mabybe he didn’t want to be a peon when the socialism kicks in.

Of the thousands upon thousands of times Brown has voted in the US Senate, the MSM attack him on this one vote.
This is just the Liberal Media attempting split conservatives from Scott Brown.

That’s a good argument, but Scott Brown portrayed himself as pro-choice.

It doesn’t matter, the pro-abortion crowd voted against him.

Yes. Typcally, Ma$$holes. Pardon my French.

HA Ha. Wish I could pull up the appropriate Simpsons pic for this.
I remember just being absolutely berated by the good folk of FR warning about this guy after I noticed a few points on his web site and made a few comments. Did you listen? Nooooooooo. He was a REPUBLICAN.
To: roses of sharon
When a Republican uses the term “bipartisan” that is understood by the Democrats as waving the white flag.

I'm not defending Scott Brown. I'm just stating the obvious.
A Massachusetts Fiscal Conservative is different than a Texas Fiscal Conservative.
I guess a yes vote on a 15 Billion Dollar Jobs Bill is better than a yes vote on a Trillion Dollar Socialist Health Care Bill.
Sometimes, you have to pick your fights...

Small business such as barber shops or clothing boutiques benefit fom tax credits and they spur innovation.
Scott Brown's election from the bluest state is a shot across the bow. Maybe you would have been happier with Martha Coakley. As a Massachusetts resident, I am thrilled to say that this state finally elected a Republican Senator. And the frosting on the cake is, who he replaced. .
This article best describes what his election means. Scott Brown and Republican purity
To: GoCards
“Democrats needed to poach Brown and and least one other Republican to reach the 60 votes necessary. Centrist Republican Sens. Susan Collins (Maine) and Olympia Snowe (Maine) also voted for cloture on the proposal.
Reitiring GOP Sens. George Voinovich (Ohio) and Kit Bond (R-Mo.) also voted for cloture. ‘
What a disappointment! And I had such high hopes for him...

Can we now stop the “SCOTT BROWN” for President threads?
Did you all not know that he was going to be a “moderate Republican” anyway (not a traditional conservative): the only reason to support Scott Brown so vehimently has been tactical anyway: To stop Obamacare (and give a scare to the Democrats)!

He is a Romney protege. Folks here who in the heat of ht moment lost their heads didn’t pay attention to that obvious fact.

Proving once again that Republican ≠ conservative.

Why in hell do people on FR throw a fit every time an Independent turns out not to be a hardcore conservative in everything they say and do?Because most people here are rigid ideologues.
