"He feels that he has some ability to bring people together,"What a joke. The only people he appeals to are welfare recipients, academics, Hollywood and the mindless drones that make common cause with the muzzies and they're all drinking out of the miscreant Marxist kool-aid jar.

“Personality”?? He has major personality defects and I would dread being forced to meet him for even a single minute. He is a narcissistic bloviator, educated far beyond his intelligence, a legend in his own mind, a petulant child with a severe “me” attitude who always got whatever he wanted handed to him without ever engaging in real work. He is a disgusting POS. I still can’t believe that over half of the voters were suckered in by this charlatan.

For me, Chrissy, that tingly feeling up my leg was the result of the nerve damage caused by Obozo’s domestic and foreign policy positions that scare the hell out of me.

Chris Matthews is beginning to realize that Barack Obama can't change things with just the power of his personality.
This would be laughable if the philosophy was only in practice over domestic policy. But to be so idealistic in how we deal with our adversaries, what were these people thinking? Iran, Venezuela and China have only taken advantage of Obama's naivety in the last year and it has put us in a weaker position.

"There's this fundamental belief that he can change, that the power of his personality and the power of his oratory can change people... But you can't just do it with the power of your personality." Obama changed people. Look at Massachusetts, New Jersey and Virgina. He just didn't change them the way he, his party and his media wanted.

Chris Matthews asks:
Last question here: How can you be a man of, a leader of the progressive movement, really do things that enlarge the role of government in the healthcare field for example, and in financial regulation, and still make the country in this Kumbaya, we all get along mood?
Ha ha, read that again! Chrissy admits Obambi is a progressive and the leader of the progressive movement in America!
And what was it Chrissy was so beside-himself about when "talk radio" calls Obambi a progressive?

Matthews: Why can't Obama change things since he's the
"leader of the progressive movement"? English transaltion: Why don't Americans want a Communist nation?

The first words out of the MSNBC election night anchor Chrissies mouth after Zero was declared the winner were (I can’t quote) My job is to make sure that he is successful. The co anchor I forget was taken aback and questioned Matthews and he repeated the same with all his tinglies.

This is wrong. We have added 10 trillion to the deficit over ten years. That is a stunning “victory” It is impossible notto make stunning and deeply radical changes with that alone.

BUT THE EXTRAORDINARY THING is that after each failure to persuade, Obama goes on to waste his time appearing exactly the same way at the next lost cause, as if he can still do magic and with no apparent recognition or memory of his previous failures.
