It’s simple. Getting control of CO2 is getting control of everything. It is the totalitarian bureaucratic panacea.
Nope. Not true. The "smoking gun" chlorine radical was detected and measured in the atmosphere years ago. However, that does zip to validate global warming, which IS only theory.

The writer is correct that the CFC was a dry run on the Global Warming scam. It was based on the flimsiest of evidence. Didn’t help much that Dow’s patent on the CFCs in question was expiring, and that they had a new patented replacement in the chutes just in time for it.

Hmmm. Never heard that before. Has similarities to how Hansen testified before Congress and started the whole AGW train rolling. They left the windows open after scheduling the hottest day statistically in DC.
The other common factor between the debates concerning regulations on CFC and CO2, is that both required and assumed that solar energetic output fluctuations were insignificant. O3 is created in the atmosphere by very energetic UV radiation. They always just assumed that the energetic UV radiation output of the sun never changed significantly. Now we know that assumption was wrong. They also assumed that visible light radiation from the sun did not vary enough to make the sun a significant factor in warming. That turned out to be correct, but other forms of energetic output of the sun has been found to vary dramatically.
You have solved the earth’s secret. The earth is actually an eye ball.
One looking down at us no doubt as we continue sacrificing our selves to false gods.

Dow has never had any patents on CFC's. Dupont was and is the patentee.
I stand corrected on that. Thanks. Doesn't change the fact that the fact that a politically connected company assisted in this hoax which ended up costing us all a lot of money.. I was up on all this stuff way back when, but it's been a while and a lot has happened since then. :-)
