It's kinda funny, too, because I am just like him: I am a contract software developer.

There's only one difference between us: I am grateful for what I have, what I earn, and the fact I earn well enough that I barely notice what I pay the feds and state.

And he is not.

Oh, I can imagine the relief you felt. So glad for you.

I’ve only heard of some ‘injuries’ and am amazed no one was killed from the pictures of that building burning!! -other than the pilot-killer.

I was amazed to find it. I was looking up about his wife and found a music teachers association newsletter that listed her email as sheryl@embeddedart.com. I thought that I was going to find something about a piano studio and was shocked to see what was there.

Repeating just so credit goes where it is due when people go back and find this thread.

Madame (I presume), speech is supposedly free in this country. If Jim Robinson thinks I went to far, then I will apologize, gladly. But, one sanctimonious church-lady calling names says more about you than it does about me. And here are my bona fides, citizen5408.com

His screed betrays a total and intensely concentrated self-focus since he was a child. I can’t really say that this is a symptom of our culture since it has been this way since Cain killed Abel.

From his suicide note:

The recent presidential puppet GW Bush and his cronies in their eight years certainly reinforced for all of us that this criticism rings equally true for all of the government. Nothing changes unless there is a body count (unless it is in the interest of the wealthy sows at the government trough). In a government full of hypocrites from top to bottom, life is as cheap as their lies and their self-serving laws.

I wondered who would blame Bush first, I didn't realize it would be the nut himself.

Re: embeddedart.com...I BELIEVE THIS IS JOE STACK’S SITE. AMAZING FIND FREEPERS...WOW.

This is the google cache for the site as it once was, and he is a software engineer (though a terrible web designer looking at this website).

This is what he said....note he came from California originally where there is a Stack registered as a pilot who just happened to fly to Georgetown in 2009, which is where this plane was taken from:

“Home
Welcome! This site briefly describes the capabilities and experience of the Embedded Art firmware/software development service company.

Our Mission
To advance the art of programming, one project at a time; by achieving an optimum balance between cost, schedule, functionality, reliability, and maintainability.

Company Profile
Embedded Art is a small independent software house, specializing in process control and automation. In its current form it represents the culmination of 20 years of experience in the software development consulting business. Founded by Joe Stack in 1983 (under the name of Prowess Engineering) in Southern California, the company thrived for 15 years until shifting focus to the Sacramento area to take advantage of growth in the Silicon Valley.

Now, 5 years later, the expertise of Embedded Art has landed in the Austin Area expecting to lend a hand to the growing high technology industry in South-Central Texas.

The concept behind the success of Embedded Art is that we provide the experience and muscle for addressing complex software engineering development tasks. Much of today’s programming is a step-wise refinement of previous development projects. With 20 years of experience, we provide the expertise that can effectively navigate around many of the pitfalls that snare the unseasoned engineer (indeed, we’ve seen many of the same mistakes made again and again by the inexperienced).

Well they need to add it to the new Shrink bible that calls the enjoyment of sex a mental disorder.

Would fit right in with that bunch.
