A “flash mob” is a cry from our young people that they have too much time on their hands, too much money AND SHOULD BE SENT TO AFGHANISTAN FOR TWO YEARS OR TILL THEY LEARN TO APPRECIATE WHAT THEY HAVE!!!!

The Amish, again, no doubt! Why can’t they stay in the Dutch Country and leave the poor people of Philly to live in peace?

Flash mobs are an anarchist’s tool to provide cover for chaos.
Test the wires for channels of communication. decentralized organization. Some who gather do not even know who pulls the strings or the exact nature of the gathering.
Technically bicyclists’ critical mass events are “flash mobs”.

This is why, back in the day, a Macy’s near me removed their Ticketron location from the store. The final straw was the thousands that showed up to purchase Zeppelin tickets. Those who were lucky to get in and get tickets were psyched. Those who were not roamed the mall and ripped the place blind.

Interesting. Same thing happened in Cleveland yesterday. A crowd of maybe 200 "youths" gathered at an Eastside mall and began disrupting everyone with riding bikes in the mall, inside a WalMart, etc. Some were beat up and badly hurt.
Must be a trend.

“Flash Mob” tries to give the sense that this was one of those silent groups of harmless internet geeks that sometimes gather.
This was rather just a good old-fashioned riot by a bunch of ghetto thugs who were off school for the week (those that bother to go to school).

I thought snowball fights in Philly were limited to Eagle games. It is comforting to know that football does not cause snowball fights.

Similar to the "flash mobs" near South Street in June 2009, investigators believe Tuesday's brawl might have been organized on the internet. Don't conspiracy laws come into play.

I know I am just a grouchy old man, out of touch with the youth of today. In fact, I was out of touch with the youth of my own day. At 17 I was working after school at a grocery and worrying about work or the military after high school graduation. My friends in our small mining town were doing the same. Adulthood began at 18 and so did the responsibilities. I fail to understand today's world where twenty somethings are still children for all intents and purposes.
For God's sake grow up "kids"!

I would of arrested as many as I could confiscated their phones and used them to track down each and every one of the others that had planned to be there.
