You might consider having Mr OH deconstruct the presentation into a text file (since it started off more or less that way), and post the individual text captions in perhaps the Blogger/Personal section of FR, and use any image hosting service to include the appropriate pictures accompanying the text (I like Image Shack these days, they have a piece of software that uploads your pics directly from your hard drive without even needing to visit their website each time), i.e., basically post the contents of the Presentation minus the Power Point slide show function, my own PwrPnt experience is a little limited, truth be told but that would be my suggestion.
Oops, just noticed you said the presentation was on a zip drive (presumably placed there by his IT people?), Power Point itself should allow you to selectively save the various portions you want, as PP has an edit function to the best of my recollection. If you have Power Point installed on your system (and to view it I presume you do), you ought to be able to examine it slide by slide (page-by-page) and save the sections you want individually.
Yes, his IT people put it on Power Point for him, so I'll see what happens when I take a look at it again on our computer here.
I'll play around with it this afternoon and see what I can do, and give you a ping if I get it up and running.
Thanks again!
Anytime. Have to go TCB (’Take Care o’ Business’, as Elvis would say), back later today.
“And congratulations on having a job. I guess you think raising four kids. having two jobs and volunteering is a waste of a life.”
Since you are so proud of it, what were you a part-time, non-tenured, “professor” of? What’s your PhD in?
“Says a lot about you. None of it good.”
I get a little annoyed when internet commandos with weird fixations on politicians call me a liar for telling the truth.
“Frankly, I’m surprised you had that kind of judgement, based on your lack thereof at this point in your life.”
I have enough judgement to finally do away with my rationalizations and face the facts about the man I voted for. I have enough judgement to finally realize that the lesser of two evils argument is why we have $13 trillion in debt and an un-Constitutional government. I have enough judgement to recognize that the two parties are on the same side - big government socialism.
In short, I and everyone you attack in this thread and others, have better judgement than you. We recognize a reality that isn’t clouded by teenage fantasies about your hero President.
Interestingly enough, like mkjessup, I could agree with you on some subjects like Obama. It’s just that you have this massive beam in your eye concerning a liberal you like and are extremely arrogant and condescending to anyone who sees clearly. We’ve tried to point out where you are wrong, but you are immune to truth. It’s a psychological issue - you have so much of yourself invested in George W Bush that you view any attack on his liberal agenda as an attack on yourself. We’ve seen this before in the Mainstream Media and Democratic Party when someone attacked Clinton or Obama. It’s the same pathology.
“Hey you! You will NOT call my patriot friend a liar. You got it? I will have your butt off this site so fast your head will spin. Now go play in traffic.”
She called me a liar first, sparky. What is it with (some) women on political forums? (Guessing based on the “Nan”).
“I didn’t know that censorship was a conservative ideal.”
It apparently is a Republican ideal now...
“Just remember, FC, that most “conservatives” are okay with Big Government and deficit spending, so long as it suits their agenda and, preferably, they (or folks they approve of) are in charge.”
Exactly why the mood in the country is against both parties.
The GOP may benefit from that this year, but they will be too dense to realize that it won’t be them winning, but the Dems losing - except, perhaps, in races like Hayworth’s.
"Print" the PowerPoint file to a PDF (use the free CutePDF Writer for Windows) in handout (6 slides to a page) mode or just one slide to a page. Dump to your favorite Web host and link.
You should be able to include only certain slides when "printing" if that's what you want to do.
Deficit spending (i.e., imposing deferred tax increases, or otherwise passing the financial buck to a future generation) no matter how righteous or moral the cause is just plain wrong.
I don't give a damn how much "character and integrity" the man has. Both he and the Republican Congress (well, most of the Congress) campaigned like conservatives, but when the rubber met the road, they governed like progressives.
So go ahead. Make my day. "Respect and admire" the RINO Bush...but that doesn't make him any less of a skunk and a POS, nor does it make up for his pathetic record as the RINO who paved the way for the Marxist Obama.
“Deficit spending (i.e., imposing deferred tax increases, or otherwise passing the financial buck to a future generation) no matter how righteous or moral the cause is just plain wrong.”
So is charity with the public purse.
Here’s a speech from a better man than any in office in a long time.

One of the things Bush defenders crow about is all that money he gave to Africa and elsewhere around the world.
And I especially don't care about conversing with people who don't respect a woman's right to stay home and raise responsible, caring, mature and Godly children, at the expense of furthering a promising career (some would say I made the conservative choice, FC, and wouldn't mock me for it).
In other words, go away. You have proven who you are, and the picture is not at all pretty.
Now, for the last time, try to do something conservative with your life.....besides living in a McCain state (lol!)
BIG difference. You have done nothing other than attack me for being a liberal (following me around to do that, I think), while you have done nothing conservative in your life.
That makes you a phony. No lie there.
Between the two of us, there's only one active conservative.........ME.
He's willing to do that, and I'm willing to format it for presentation here.
Thanks again for your suggstion.

It was then that he walked right in front of me, and I said, "I'm praying for you and Laura every day." He looked right at me......we were face to face.....me with the President of the United States of America......and he said, "Thank you. That's the kindest thing you can do for me."
THEN, he hugged me, and gave me a kiss on my left cheek.......which has not been washed since! :o)
and
What a thrill!! How thankful we are to have this great, yet humble man as our President! It was obvious in just a moment that he really was listening to me.....that he really does care about us little guys......and that he wants and needs our prayers! I felt like I could have been the only one in the whole room when he looked at me, and spoke in soft, gentle tones to me.
and
And we need to be on our knees from now until Tuesday for this election, so that he can more effectively do GOD's WORK for this country!

Yup.
But hey, what can you expect? Most Americans aren't looking for competent public office holders in the style of a republican government; what they're looking for is a Caesar, a Christ, a Savior, a...Messiah...someone to worship on their knees at the altar of Big Government.
That's where you and I will always differ. rabs.
I have much higher priorities than my particular political views. I believe I'm right (and I think you and I agree on most points), but I don't judge other people based on politics.
I hope that as you grow from a youthful idealist, that you will expand your priorites to include character and integrity.
But here's the bottom line. We have a real enemy in D.C. and if you keep fighting the past, we can't fix the future.
And if we don't get the Marxists out of office, we're never, ever going to recover.
Have a good day, rabs.

I wasn’t mocking you for that. I was mocking your arrogant presumption.
Then they should pay for it.
Yet you will hear all the of-retirement-age FReepers who supported Bush's African give-aways bitching and moaning about Social Security, i.e., the very funds that were "borrowed" to give away.
