Sounds like she is weaseling to avoid alienating her nutter base. exactly... and so she sounds just like a politician... that is what they do--try to give answers that please everyone... had she just been a straight-talker--and not political, she wouldn't be in this mess...

“No government is competent enough to keep such a secret, anyway.”
A quick review of government should convince most that no government is capable of much of anything.

Read the transcript in post 22, she will not back away from it, Trutherism is definitely on the table as far as she is concerned.
As a vet, she steams me, we aren’t the kind of people that can conduct widespread murder on our people and murder our fellow GIs by blowing up the Pentagon.

There are some advantages to a sales tax approach. I just think it is beyond doable at least for the next several years. Now that doesn’t mean the ground work can’t be laid and the processes began to be analyzed. In that sense I think she has at least put the idea on the table. Someone mentioned deducting sales tax on fed forms. That deductions ends in 2010 so this is the last year of that.

It was a simple question requiring a simple yes or no answer.......All she had to say was yes or NO.

You say that, but I have no doubt that Obama would permit (as in, look the other way) a terrorist attack in the United States in order to declare Marshall law.
He’s looking for any excuse to reshape the USA in his image, and some “Reichstag Fire” instance would be his means to that end.

She is probably a better fit with Ron Paul, Libertarians, and other 3rd party types. And there is a guy running on the Libertarian Party for governor of TX. Question is, why wasn't she running there instead of the Republican Party?

Did Debra think she was going to a tea party w/Beck? He did his job and she answered the question. It wasn’t a rocket science question. What’s the problem? Now you know more about her than you did before. Say thank you to Glenn!
To: Boucheau
No, she refused to take a stance on it. Which is just as bad.

Of course, that remains to be seen how she recovers.
I think that is her biggest obstacle and the time isn't there for her limited resouces to reach across this state with the media she needs to make the recovery.
It's only 5 days until early voting starts and 19 days to the election.

Im still not voting for Perry or Hutchinson. You have spelled Hutchison wrong.
If you know that little, one wonders what else you may be wrong about.

Subject matter notwithstanding, the guy who wrote this shouldnt even be in our country, let alone opining for a newspaper. What?
