I'm not a bigot for opposing people who stand for nothing more than imposing their sexual lifestyles upon the rest of us. They don't have to advertise it. One wonders why they desperately need our approval. How do you prove that you're 'gay'? (Just wondering.)

See Gillibrand
Gillibrand Proposes Barring Funds For Don't Ask, Don't Tell EnforcementNew York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, speaking at the annual New York dinner of the Human Rights Campaign, said she will introduce an amendment to the budget that will bar the use of funds for the enforcement of the militarys Dont Ask, Dont Tell policy, which prevents gay and lesbian soldiers from serving openly.
That pledge, made February 6 at Manhattans Waldorf Astoria Hotel, came just four days after the Senate Armed Services Committee held a hearing on the policy at which Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and Admiral Michael Mullen testified that it is time to look at overturning the policy.Nothing has been done...yet.

“A year ago he was for repealing dont ask dont tell because he was running for president.”
I must’ve missed that...he was always against the repeal as far as I can remember...

The decision has been made... DoD and the military, at least Mullen, are planning how to implement the new policyLaw trumps policy. There's a little matter called the United States Code that they have to work around. And they're not going to be able to do that very easily or well.
Not that they're not giving it their best attempt.
Sick. Absolutely sick.

“How do you prove that you’re ‘gay’? (Just wondering.)”
You really want to know? ok...
A man proves it by sticking his reproductive parts up some other guy’s rectum. That sort of behavior just doesn’t belong in the military.

The decision has been made... Doesn't this require a change in the UCMJ, which requires legislation and a presidential signature?

... you said ////quote////
Because even they arent so sure that they are doing the right thing by promoting this lifestyle. If you were sure that you were doing the right thing, you would press on despite people talking you down / ///end quote////
also: I’ve noticed some of them saying boldly - for example - “I’m openly gay and have been for years” — But then (afterward) when it came right down to it, they showed shame. That really puzzled me at the time.

Why are they bringing this up now? As Palin said, he spent less than ten minutes on foreign affairs but throws this out? The gays must be enraged by recent defeats.

We should keep to the strongest, clearest argument. No one would want a heterosexual man in the army sleeping next to his or her enlisted daughter. And we don’t want homosexual men sleeping next to our enlisted sons. Ditto for sharing showers. To have people serve in such quarters with people they are sexually attracted to is crazy.

I predict it will be the opposite.Gays will not be welcomed in the military and the gays will leave and not enlist.

What do you expect from Frank Rich since so many of the 'newsroom' is filled with gays and lesbians?!
I wonder if they have a quota for hiring white straight men?

I know I’m right. This will result in less gay enlistments and them being deeper under cover that are in .

Okay, once again, I hope you're right and I'm wrong. No need to further assert your rightness...I get it.

Small wonder the NYTimes is focussed as a laser on the promotion of sexual deviancy...just another plank in the historic KGB plan to destroy morals in the West. These idiots are determined to weaken the US Military no matter what the result will be. The Progressives will never stop they are a cancer.
