For all we know she may have written them on her hand during dinner just before the speech just to remind herself of some key phrases, let’s be real about it, people do need to refresh their memory, and beside the scrutiny Sarah gets by the media and left wing bloggers are super intense beyond anything even the President himself is afforded, Obama would have looked 10x bad if some of his own scrutinized everything he did during the campaign. If Sarah had a run in her stockings, the media would surely point it out someway...people need to get real.

Exactly! I do a fair bit of public speaking in front of a wide variety of audiences and in different venues.
Yes, I have been known to scribble a name of somebody I want to remember to specifically mention or a particular point or key words that bears mentioning on the side of my index finger (next to my thumb)!

You missed the point. It's not the five words or the turkey or any of the other missteps she has made. If one wants to vote for her (like me), those things won't matter. However, she has to appeal to independents and knowing the media is against any and everything Palin, she should not give them this sort of thing to use against her and by default conservatives. Don't you still hear these idiots repeating the lie that she said she could see Russia from her house? Come on now....you have to admit she makes mistakes from time to time.
