“Perry is the best of the lot. During Katrina was when I really appreciated him. The media came down here with the idea of bashing TX when all the LA folks were moved here. They didn’t even stay one day when they saw the organization for disaster here was incredibly superior to probably any other state in this country.
Perry did a fantastic job with the Katrina refugees.
Feb 14th, Berry Center on Barker Cypress. Got my tickets (free) and will be there.

Thanks......... I’d not seen the location but then I hadn’t looked for it either. Getting on the outskirts I see.
Medina ‘phenomenon’ takes hold in Texas
I recommend everyone read your link. It really clears up a lot about Medina. It details the massive three person empire she is the head of and describes her failure to become a doctor and settling to be a nurse. Both true signs of a high powered hard charger and a real leader in that quitter sort of way.
I really like that she is a Ron Paul clone and when she loses the race for Governor she will not support the Republican candidate.
A real eye opener!
That’s why I pinged Dubya to encourage him to make a thread of the article as I think all things, good or bad, should be on display.
The rally is this weekend, the 7th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Sorry about that.....
On a humantarian basis, yes.
I also look at the after effects, such as the sudden rise in the crime rate of NE San Antonio, which came with those refugees.
Thanks deport.
Perry is nothing but a political oppotunist, he’s whatever you want him to be.
Medina is about as qualified to be Governor as zero was to be President.....want to re-visit how that is working out!
She’s a Libertarian running on the Republican ticket. She is supported by the Ron Paul worship crowd and she herself has acted in the Ron Paul worship capacity.
She has demonstrated a lack of knowledge about Texas law and current ballot initiatives.
We will be there.
Freepmail me or ping me from the original thread to get on/off the 2010 Texas Gubernatorial Race ping list.
Saved the property tax payer how much? I didn’t see it. All I saw was my property taxes go from what amounted to 2 weeks of pay to over 2 months of my paycheck in 15 years time.
