I seem to remember that some time ago, Starbucks was getting heat (forgive the pun) about not letting their workers have a gun locked in their car in their parking lotor some such. That seems unlikely. Most Starbucks are in strip centers and have no parking lot other than the one that belongs too all the stores in common.

You guys are insane if you think Starbucks is going to allow open carry, same with Peets, Support you family owned joints, not these liberal whores.Well, apparently they've allowed it till now, or they wouldn't be getting pressure to stop. And, to be fair, they're apparently resisting that pressure. Peets, or that one location, apparently just went no-gun.

Starbucks management (and presumably employees) is widely viewed as a hotbed of liberalism.
A liberal is only a liberal until they have been mugged.
Now that their liberal “friends” are mugging Starbucks, maybe Starbucks will reconsider its liberal marketing efforts.

“but I like the WiFi, the coffee,”
MacDonald’s has good coffee for about $1 and free WiFi.

MacDonalds has good coffee for about $1 and free WiFi.And they don't wear their politics on their corporate sleeve made in non-sweatshop conditions from free trade cotton, using wadda, wadda, wadda....

I manage a Starbucks Store. I am a Conservative. I have witnessed tolerance by the higher powers that exist for my beliefs, my faith, the organizations and causes I donate my personal time and money to. I wear a US Flag pin proudly each day. My customers are primarily conservative, except for a few fruitloops that have been in college for 10 years and still havent graduated...
...I guess my point is that Starbucks and Schultz may be uber-liberal, but I still get to be me and I love my job. I truly enjoy my customers and look forward to seeing them stop by.
Mazeltov! It's gratifying to know that your employer exhibits at least some level of tolerance for differing points of view.
oh...heres a hint....if you arent satisfied with your beverage, tell your Barista. They should continue to make you a drink until you are satisfied. As for my store, well throw away beverage after beverage until our customer is served a drink they are satisfied with.
Thanks for the tip. Unfortunately, this consumer tends to be a bit utilitarian in his coffee consumption, which is to say that he views coffee costing more than $1.00 per serving as being too expensive. But if I should find myself in the mood for a $4.50 cup of coffee, I will remember your advice. ;-)

Yep. And whether it was a shot across Monica’s “bow” or not, late night retailers should be armed.
