This is a good review of "Edge." Mel Gibson redeemed himself with the Hollywood Left by making a film that tarred Republicans and defamed defense contractors. Its a vile of high quality Bin Laden cinema dreck. Avoid at ALL COSTS. In this movie, as Debbie Schlussel rightly says, "there’s something in this movie for every flavor of America-hater and far-lefty." Skip-worthy, indeed.

I saw the movie today, and did not see anything antisemitic about it what so ever. Yeah, the anti-government element is central to the theme, but so what?

It's entertainment, just an action suspense story. I liked the movie because it affirmed positive a father daughter family relationship, and did not have a bunch of sex and degenerate overtones. Just my take.

Oh. I guess that explains that headline I read today that maybe Mel should be forgiven. I didn’t read further but after seeing this now it makes sense. He made a movie bashing America so of course the Left would forgive. Not that they hated him for the anti-semitic slurs noooo....The Passion of the Christ was why they hated him. The Jew slurs were just a convenient excuse to send him packing.
