I wonder if this guy realizes how cost prohibitive building a sub that can dive that deep would be....
With the pressure that goes along with that depth, if something were to happen there won't be anything left of the "black box".......let alone retrieving it.

Were it even remotely possible, it would take a nation state budget to build one of those things. Considering the pressures involved, it would probably be more expensive than a space shuttle (complete with boosters and launch set-up).
Tourism? Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea?
Not in our lifetimes, I reckon.

Good way to smuggle drugs...if you can keep the USN sonars off of you.It seems that others have had your idea as well....I suppose it will never be known how successful they are, but it seems many of them have been caught.
Going extremely deep appears to be beyond the scope of these, however.
