Not a bad idea. Those old boys could carry a load, had lots of loiter time, and could put the ordinance where it mattered.

Don’t we still have a few P-38’s laying around somewhere? If prop aircraft are good enough for the Brits. why not us? All liberals will agree with me, I’m sure.

The F-15 is a capable plane, but more than 20 years old in its design. The F-22 would be a more even match.

Maybe the F15 pilots were crappy. The last time I quoted airkill ratios against the F15 by pilots of a supposedly inferior airplane (the Harrier), that was what I was told.
