Just how much voters have soured since Obama took officeand took over a country in chaosis reflected in the president's late-game decision to rush to Massachusetts on Sunday to try to stave off an extraordinary Republican upset in the race for a Senate seat Democrats have held for more than half a century. If Brown wins, Obumble is going to be wearing Coakley around his neck like a chicken-killing hound, caught in the act, wears a rotting hen carcass necklace.

I suppose he figures he can energize "the base," but I too wonder if this "visit" isn't going to backfire. He has nothing, really, to say, and will just remind the rest of voters all over again why they are angry.
