Marxists don’t do well unless they can silence the press and the opposition. It must frustrate these neo-communists to no end to have to pretend to respect the 1st Amendment. I think they hate it more than the 2nd Amend but it wouldn’t look good to be too open about that.
Watch Coakley’s two thugs as they sight McCormack and the big thug goes after McCormack.
Then, watch the last 30 seconds or so after the thug pushed McCormack down and continued to hassle, assualt and threaten him.

Just more proof of my 2009 tagline which will be my 2010 tagline.

According to what I see, Coakley comes out of the restaurant site of the fund-raising event with her aides (goon squad) and conducts a one-minute press conference on the busy Washington street. That in itself seems like a very unusual event, considering the timing, location, and cold temperatures. How would the press have been notified and who would be checking credentials in advance? Was this intended to be, perhaps, for friendly (pro-Dem) media types only?
Only three questions are asked at the quickie conference. McCormack asks the second of them, the one about terrorists in Afghanistan that embarrasses Coakley and which she refuses to answer.
Then, after the very brief outdoor event breaks up, McCormack walks in the same general direction as Coakley and her aides, a bit in front of them, when he is shoved down from behind by Meehan. Seems as if the only motivation for the shove was reprisal for McCormack's question to Coakley seconds earlier.
Then, strangest of all, after McCormack gets up, Meehan, acting as if he's law enforcement official, continues to hassle him on a public street about his press credentials. McCormack, obviously intimidated by the bigger man, complies and walks away.
No question that Meehan committed a misdemeanor-level assault and harrassment. But what was McCormack thinking, walking (deliberately) ahead of the Coakley party as if he was may have been trying to get in another question or two after being snubbed at the brief conference? Not saying McCormack committed any crime, but he may have been a bit over the top in pursuing Coakley after the event had concluded.
Fox did a "thing" on it when dems were questioning the right of conservative journalists to "follow them" - the FOX clips showed liberal journalists doing that and worse FOREVER and NO ONE objected.
This is the double standard.
Trust me, if a Republican had done that to a liberal New York Times reporter, he'd have to resign.
The conduct of Meehan AFTER he knocks down McCormack is criminal menacing

McCormack said he is not pursuing charges. He would be doing a service if he did.
I’m disappointed that he is not filing charges.
We know of two separate cases of severe bullying at two schools where kids were pushed, hit and spit on by the bullies.
The parents got no where until we told them to press charges. When they pressed charges, positive things happened. At one school, they were going to transfer the girl being bullied, after the parents got a lawyer, that bs stopped. Then the bullies were transferred or had massive behavior changes. The civil lawsuit would have been against the bullies, their parents, and the school administrators for protecting the bullies instead of the girl being bullied.
Thanks for the term, “Criminal Menacing!”
Unfortunately, there is double standard in political journalist behavior, just as in other aspects of political life. That stems from a different value system, a different sense of what is morally right and decent.

Yes, that kind of leftist "in your face" pursuit of a "right wing" target is epitomized in Michael Moore's movie Roger and Me. Since Moore is an icon of the left, it's hardly surprising that many of the others in their camp use similar tactics and condone their use, with no second thoughts about intrusion on their adversary's private space.
Yeah. They must feel real lonely among the land of the whale.
I sent him an email at the Weekly Standard site where he posted the apology from Meehan. I asked him to press charges for the sake of all the intimidations by the left.

Parent's need to lawyer up quickly - the schools ARE run by liberals ...

Yes, indeed, and they are overly protective of PC bad behavior kids and illegal kids, who often do the bullying.
Good for you.
Does John have an email where you don’t have to sign up and promise your first born son and grandson to send emails?
the link I sent involved no sign in. Unless I signed up a long time ago and don’t remember now. Did you check it out?
