I’d view keeping the Texas House as the important thing because the numbers are really close and somehow a Dem is pro tem even though Republicans control the chamber.

That is important this election as the Texas Legislature will begin the state legislature redistricting process afer the census. I think the House is within one or two votes being in the democrat column at the present time.

>> Why KBH even entered this race is a mystery.

She’s an inside-the-beltway hack, but she’s ambitious. She doesn’t give a rat’s ass about Texas. She wants to get her card stamped as governor on the way to a run for POTUS.

In the fever swamps of KBH’s little politician pea brain, she fancies that she’s presidential material and nothing less will do.

Yep, all we need are a few more illegals, and it goes over to the ‘Rats.

There’s basically no way to stop it in the long haul, short of stopping the vermin influx and exterminating the vermin already here. But that ain’t gonna happen.

I suppose for the same reason that Perry thought it worthwhile to include in an ad that Hutchinson had voted for funding for “Tuscaloosa, Alabama.”

Now, if Perry really wants to make that point stick he should bring up the fact that we’re gonna build a statue of the coach at the stadium and try to tie her vote for “Tuscaloosa money” to the statue somehow.....

Perry will win this one by a wide margin. Why KBH even entered this race is a mystery.

She'll keep all the campaign money for her bank account?

Kay Baily Hutchinson is a moron for running for Texas Governor. What, being US Senator wasn’t good enough for her? She’s just going to force everyone to raise wads of cash and blow wads of cash in a primary that should never have taken place. And then maybe a Democrat gets her Senate seat

Why is this ditsy dame running for Guv???

Did you see the media pushing the meme that Texas is not giving away enough food stamps?

That's a plus for me. I'm voting for Perry!

Good question. Personally I think she wants to move back to Texas but she could do that without running for gov or any elective office as far as that goes. Word is she intended to run last time but the political powers that be [whomever they are] convinced her to stay in DC and let Perry have one more term. It was thought he’d leave the gov’s office after finishing that term and ten years but he’s chosen not to. So who knows what lurks in someone’s mind as to feeling like the need to be in an elective office all their life.

KBH gave cover to the Dems to gut the secure border act back in 2007. Perry and the Texas DOT tried to ram the NAFTA super highway through Texas until the grassroots uprising derailed it.

Perry is now claiming to be more states rights and anti-Fed. Meanwhile, KBH is running ads against Perry to investigate DOT and once and for all kill the NAFTA super highway. KBH has decided to hold onto her senate seat while running for governer.

Both of these guys have tested the political winds and readjusting to appeal to the Texas voter. Both of these guys are career politicians that would promote more globalism if the voters were not so angry about those things right now. Once more, we get to choose between two candidates that basically are identical.

Yeah.... I figured Kay Baily Hutchinson might want to live closer to some family and old friends in Texas. So she figures why not be governor too
