Yeah, and when I watch the Harry Potter movies, I wish I had magical powers.
Then I have to go to work, and deal with the real world. Get over it, you losers!

Another Freeper (whose name I cannot remember) asked his young daughter what she thought about the movie, and she said "It was Pocahontas with Blue People".
Then, I saw this, and had a good ROTFLMAO...

I think that’s a great idea. Someone will make money designing it and testing it, and someone will make money operating it. Viva el capitalismo!

Most of these people never leave the city. To them the world is all grey and dirty because they make it grey and dirty. This is an incredibly beautiful world, everything you look at is perfectly put together from a blade of grass to the giant trees.
How sad for them.

Screw it, I now am rooting for the economic collapse of society. Reading this I have just realized my life’s calling is to operate the first post-collapse gladiator arena.

Nice, Popman, nice...:)
I just spent the last weekend in Chatham, MA...my wife and I were out for a drive, and stopped by the Chatham Lighthouse.
I stepped out of my car into 20 degree weather...I could hear the ocean roaring, and the light swept over my head.
When I looked up to see the beams pass overhead, the sky was a canopy of stars...it was beautiful.
Those dummies just need to look up now and then.

Those dummies just need to look up now and then. It's more than just looking up, it's about what is in your heart.
I can find beauty in a blade of grass, but if my soul soul is dead and empty rejecting the creator of the creation. I will be sad and miserable and probably a DUmmie

Seems like a pretty transparent attempt to generate more hype for the film in oh-so-subversive fashion.

True...but if you have your head down (both physically and mentally speaking) it is very difficult to appreciate the inherent beauty in life.
For the better part of 2008, I was engrossed in a major project at work, so completely that I was going in when it was dark, going home when it was dark, going to bed, getting up and doing it again.
I was completely immersed. But every once in a while, walking from a building back to my office late at night when everyone else was gone, the temperature hovering in the teens, I would stop as soon as I got outside and simply marvel at how good the frigid temperature was...because it was REAL and I could feel it.
