I love the Cheney answer when dealing with libs.
I have heard of several people like this who claim to be hypersensitive to any sort of electromagnetic radiation. I don’t know whether to believe them or not. I can’t put myself in their tinfoil-lined shoes, but somehow the idea of the tiny millionths or billionths of a watt coming from a neighbor’s Iphone or wireless router in ANOTHER HOUSE seem to be impossible to detect or to cause injury. Maybe there is such a medical condition, I don’t know. These guys should obviously move to a cold, isolated cabin in Bumfark Idaho and never have contact with homo sapiens. It’s only going to get worse, guys. It’s a wireless world. It’s an electric world. Adapt or die.
There are a wide variety of electromagnetic fields given off by various types of electrical connections and devices.
Most or all of these can be measured with the right equipment. Most drop off very rapidly with distance from the source. Quite often minor changes in the wiring will significantly reduce them.
It is not unreasonable to assume some people are greatly more sensitive than others. But, everyone in a neighborhood should not have to change their lifestyle because one person is sensitive in this way.
The extreme sensitivity is suspect, but even if it checks out this guy is still in the wrong. To expect other people to stop using legal devices in the confines of their own home is beyond the pale. He certainly should not have moved anywhere he could have had a next door neighbor if his problem was that severe. Instead, he should have bought himself a house in the boonies with enough surrounding land for it not to be a problem.
As an aside, how does this guy make a living? What professions would not expose him to electricity? Even a plumber would often use electronic tools and be inside homes with a host of electronic devices running. How does this guy work everyday?
Unfortunately for the defendant (victim), California is just loony enough to side with this nut.
He's sure-as-hell not smart enough to rig a Faraday cage.
This reads like a joke. How could anyone think they can force someone else to turn off their phone or computer in their own home?
“Yes your honor, on the night of June 24, I observed the defendant watching television”
“Then what?” asked the attorney mocking shock.
“It sickened me, I was astounded at the insensitive nature of my neighbor. I believe some prison time is in order.”
.......
Come on, this IS a joke right?
LOL, dude, you shoud be dead by now !!!! Are you’re innards frying as we speak?
Nice..... Comment of the Day, Martin. Comment of the Day.
Unfortunately not. I know people like this.
LOL..
Maybe we should FReep him.. nothing major, just all stand around his house and make phone calls. :->
My parents had a neighbor in Chloride, NM back in the 30’s/40’s who had survived a direct lightning strike. He lived in a primitive cabin with no power, and couldn’t stand to even enter a house with “wires in the walls”. Claimed it made his skin crawl.
But this guy is just another imported nut-case screwing up Santa Fe.
What do you want to bet he’s allergic to peanuts, too?
On a related note, the only way I can get high speed internet when we’re visiting at my sister-in-law’s house in the Atlanta area is to hop on the unprotected Wi-Fi from the house across the street. I’m just thankful that the neighbor apparently doesn’t know or care.
Or build a Faraday Cage around his house.
