One word - Revolt.

I don't think the congress critters have any idea of the level of discontent residing in many Americans, or more likely, they just don't care. I honestly don't think we are far from seeing a "Henry Bowman" type, or even something similar to the scenario in Vince Flynn's book, "Term Limits".

All it is going to take is for one hard working American to end up losing his business, and then his house from legislation like this to light the powder keg.

Is Congress' plan on the high end?

That's my plan, the FEHBP - the Federal Employees Health Benefit Plan. Along with monthly premium increases and no COLA increase in my federal pension for the next two years, this government is NOT helping me.

I had to bust my a@@ for an entire working career to get my health coverage, now the Dems want to tax my retiree a@@ to fund the welfare crowd and illegal aliens.

I’m really tired of always getting screwed for doing the right thing. We are responsible for ourselves and have always had health insurance, now we’re going to get taxed more to pay for all the LOSERS. And don’t even start to give me the B.S. about not being able to get it. The percentage of people who CHOOSE not to get health insurance is much higher than those who truly can’t qualify. I have a medical condition and pay almost $700/month for myself. My family is on another plan. I really am tired of doing the right thing.
