Sounds like a typical RomneyBOT lie.

Perhaps from Mitt, himself?

Be careful of who you thank for exposing others, because in doing so their hate might be so great that they end up exposing themselves.

I don't know if was trying to write a novel, but it is totally asinine.

Say something decent about Gov. Romney and get banned

Promoting gay marriage and socialized medicine is something you consider 'decent' for this great nation?

So much for liberty for all.

WHERE IS THE LIBERTY in socialized medicine? You CRY for something and yet promote a man who takes it away. You gotta think before you speak - that's what happens when you choose to defend the indefensible.

I think the nastiness against him is actually winning supporters for him, or at least inviting an honest look.

Typical liberal speak - making Mitt into a victim!! LOL! There is enough info out about MITT and his viciousness against others. You want nasty - your got it w/YOUR MITT!

Mitt Romney was the most passionate and convincing spokesman for abortion of all the governors.
"That is not true. Look up William Weld's position."

Show me the video, the passion, the intimate, convincing personal testimony, and the level of the public forum for Weld, and I will show you my video evidence supporting Romney as just what I said that he was.

For example, she raised the price of oil for everyone in America for the benefit of Alaska's socialist economy, spreading the oil wealth around her constituents at the expense of Americans.

Really? So, you advocate that the state of Alaska allow oil companies to drill on state-owned land for free (as I'm sure you would do as a private citizen if you owned land that had oil and an oil company approached you wanting to drill there, right?), and when Alaska's governer puts her foot down and says "Starting now, we set the terms for the use of state-owned land, not the oil companies," you twist it into "socialist economy" spreading the wealth, oddly for socialists in the form of sending dividend checks to individual Alaskans to spend or save as they please, instead of shovelling it into state coffers for more and bigger government?

Folks who oppose Palin have to resort to misrepresentation and manipulation. Folks who oppose Romney have only to quote his own words.

If you think Palin didn't write this book and use the "ghostwriter" more as an editing savvy consultant, then you're probably pretty limited in intelligence and intellecual capacity yourself, but more than that, you are clearly VERY limited in your world experience. When it comes to the written word and writing "for" other people, on the other hand, I have done that for a living for quite some time.

Whether or not a public figure writes or has ghost-written a book is zero reflection on that figure's character or that person's ideas. What IS a reflection on that character and his/her ideas is WHAT'S IN THE BOOK.

Certainly it bothers me that you disagree with me, and you're only fooling yourself when you claim that folks on Free Republic who disagree with you don't bother you. I'll tell you what really bothers me -- it's that your reasons for disliking Palin are so weak and that you promote them by misleading readers as to the truth.

Now, I would seriously be bothered if your "personal dealings with her and her operation" were legit -- and I wouldn't be bothered by/with you, because that would be blaming the messenger. No, I'd be bothered with Palin.

But every time I've looked into the charges against Palin (in particular the "windfall profits tax on oil companies" charge that you hint at in your post -- I really hope FReepers do their own due diligence and investigate it themselves by reading more than just the newspaper stories, but by going to blogs and reading comments of thoughtful folks with insight), cringing lest I find something that throws clay on her feet, I find that indeed, opponents are using the same techniques against her (of manipulating half-truths and language to mislead readers into making a false conclusion) that others use to promote Romney -- manipulating truths and language to mislead readers, although Romney supporters also often tell outright, blatant lies.

Since the three reasons you suggest for rejecting Palin -- that she's not intellectual enough, not intelligent enough, and advocates socialism, are pretty ridiculous on their face, I figure that the liklihood that your reasons for disliking her due to the "personal dealings" you had with "her and her operation" are probably just as weak minded.

Weld introduced legislation to make it easier for Massachusetts residents to get abortions. His commitment as governor to abortion exceeds anything that Romney did as governor. And that is what we are talking about, what he said and did as governor, not anything that might have happened before he took office.

You said "and of course, Mitt Romney was the most passionate and convincing spokesman for abortion of all the governors." And of course, that's not true, when you look at Weld and his record.

You seem determined to ignore my point, which is that Mitt Romney was the most passionate and convincing spokesman for abortion of all the governors.”

Romney marketed abortion to the general public of all ages by personalizing it and passionately making it about his family, and his family values and doing that at the most widely viewed forums available, I have never seen a republican so dedicated and personally involved in that kind of abortion salesmanship.

Nothing breaks down people’s resistance to an idea, like a really good, sincere, committed, salesman.

If you think Massachusetts needed Mitt Romney to turn it pro-abortion you are living in an alternative universe.

Romney did change his position on abortion, but he didn't induce anyone to be more pro-abortion than they were before. In recent years he may have influenced people in the other direction.

Romney marketed abortion to the general public of all ages by personalizing it and passionately making it about his family, and his family values and doing that at the most widely viewed forums available, I have never seen a republican so dedicated and personally involved in that kind of abortion salesmanship.

What are you talking about anyway? Romney was no more of a "salesman" for abortion than any other politician. During the 1994 campaign he lost to Ted Kennedy Mitt did mention a family friend who died from an illegal abortion. Is that it? That didn't sell anyone on abortion, though it did clarify why he held the view he did at the time.

Look, it's an imperfect world, and Romney's an imperfect person. It doesn't mean his the worst person in the world. Whatever politician you like or admire or agree with, keep watching. You'll find things to disagree with and disapprove of soon enough.

If that were true then I would not have said "Romney marketed abortion to the general public of all ages by personalizing it and passionately making it about his family, and his family values and doing that at the most widely viewed forums available, I have never seen a republican so dedicated and personally involved in that kind of abortion salesmanship."

I have videos backing up my position, show me video of the republican governors that were more dedicated and more passionate about selling abortion than Mitt Romney.

I've had to correct Diogenesis on several posts of his that were blatantly false. He did correct it -- that's how blatantly false they were.

So, be careful of who you thank.

GOP_Lady, you are absolutely unable to tell the truth.
No wonder you are a RomneyBOT.
FReepers posts are accurate --- except yours.
You lie repeatedly. Here are some examples.

GOP_Lady's Whopper - 4/15/09

GOP_Lady: (disingenuous RomneyBOT): "Of course, Mitt Romney's poll numbers are improving."

As usual, GOP_Lady was lying, torturing English, or vomiting propaganda for her Master, Mitt "The Great Myth" Romney.

Were Mitt Romney's poll numbers improving like GOP_Lady claims.
No. This is BS.
The data says that despite Romney's 10 year lead, $1 billion dollar advantage, Romney LOSES to late starter Gov. Palin.
"Public Trust Monitor Poll (Voters more favorable to Romney than Palin?
GOP 40%
Palin 38%
Romney 36%"

FLASHBACK:

FRee Republic Member Opinion
Thompson 66.8% 1,658 - WINNER
Romney 12.7% 315

Post Election Rasmussen poll - GOP voters:
Palin -- 64% - WINNER
Huckabee -- 12%
Romney -- 11%

ansel12: (to: GOP_Lady) "Like I said honesty and you are strangers."

GOP_Lady "What did you mean by “and you are strangers?”"

ansel12: "Because you are so dishonest that you are incapable of answering something so simple and your lack of honesty is the issue."

GOP_Lady (RomneyBOT): "My conscious (sic) is clear when I type on this forum. I don’t lie.”
GOP_Lady (RomneyBOT): "I knew Ronald Reagan, Ronald Reagan was a friend of mine, ... I don’t lie.”

"GOP_Lady":

GOP_Lady (RomneyBOT decepticon): "I saw the event "LIVE". ( you betcha, until caught))
"I have no video. I saw it live. I know what happened. It was a spur of the moment joke."

Look, if this indeed happened, it would be all over the news, especially ABC.

GOP_Lady,
First, the only one corrected over and over is YOU.

Second, your rudeness continues as you post about people

without pinging them (How Romney is that?)

Third, too bad you still support those who attacked Gov. Palin.

Did Romney apologize to the Mauck family yet? or the Circostas?

"National Guard Lt. Anthony Circosta poses in his backyard in Agawam, Mass., on June 9, 2007.
At left, his wife Danielle and daughter Kylie, 2, talk near the swing set. Circosta,
a decorated Iraq War veteran, seemed like an ideal candidate for a pardon from
then-Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney for the 29-year-old's boyhood conviction
for a BB gun shooting. Romney denied the pardon,
twice, despite the recommendation of the Governor's Council.
