I have nothing but respect for Cheney. He has been rock solid from day one and he will continue to be until his time on this planet has come to an end.
Our country could use more leaders of his caliber and strength to pull us out of this mess we are in.

On another site I’ve been in heated discussion with a self-described conservative who is alarmed with “the tone” of people like Cheney. He doesn’t want us to “devolve to the level of our opponents” and constantly chafes at my references to the lefts as “dhimmis”, “dhimicrats” or calling Øbozo...well Øbozo.
I understand his apprehension but have made it clear that I’m through pussy-footing with my enemies. I refuse to be held to his confines or self-imposed limitations. As a result he is trying to isolate me from the rest of the group.
